GMC Terrain Pricing
For reference, here are the 2024 GMC Terrain trim levels and their corresponding starting MSRPs, including a $1,395 destination freight charge:
- SLE – $30,095
- SLT – $34,095
- AT4 – $36,890
- Denali – $39,995
About GMC Terrain
The 2024 GMC Terrain arrives with minimal changes, specifically losing two paint colors. Additionally, the GMC Pro Safety Plus package is now standard on the AT4 trim level. It remains standard on the Denali trim and optional on the SLE and SLT trims.
Meanwhile, 2024 GMC Terrain pricing shows most trim levels as more affordable than their 2023 Terrain equivalents. This is because both SLE and SLT trims removed the three years of the OnStar & Connected Services Plan, which caused the starting prices of both trim levels to drop by $1,200. In that package’s place is three years of OnStar Remote Access. The off-road-oriented AT4Â trim also receives a price drop of $505, getting the Remote Access package and some active safety tech packages as standard. The Denali trim receives no changes in equipment or price and retains the costlier OnStar Premium plan. Check out all the 2024 Terrain pricing with options.

Recently, GM debuted the all-new, next-generation 2025 GMC Terrain, highlighting a new design, overhauled interior, the latest tech features, and additional safety items.
The redesigned exterior of the 2025Â GMC Terrain gives the crossover a more rugged, truck-like appearance, aligning it closely with the rest of the GMC lineup. Inside, the new cabin centers around a 15-inch diagonal Premium GMC Infotainment System as standard, complemented by an 11-inch-diagonal driver information center, together providing access to advanced technology, including Google Assistant, Google Maps, and a suite of over 15 safety and driver assistance features.
The powertrain remains unchanged from the previous model year, carrying over the turbocharged 1.5L I4 LSD gasoline engine as standard, producing 175 horsepower and 203 pound-feet of torque.
The next-gen 2025 GMC Terrain will arrive within the next few months, with the Elevation trim serving as the base model. The more rugged AT4 and luxurious Denali trims will follow in 2025, arriving for the 2026 model-year lineup.
Production of the 2025 Terrain begins this month.

What’s going on with 2025 Terrain production? Hasn’t started yet. The more I research the new Equinox/Terrain, the more disgusted I get. Weird features/controls, width issues, terrible gas mileage. GM needs to stop rebranding Chinese vehicles, just like Ford learned about European vehicles under “One Ford” and Stellantis is doing right now with Italian and French rebadges (Nissan too). Design them here and build them here (or in MX/Canada). Sheesh!
Width issues? Terrible gas mpg? Not seeing any of that. It is built in Mexico and designed by US for the US and China. Early reviews are well received, this is far from a “Chinese vehicle”.
Like noted above, it is built in Mexico, do you do any homework before spouting off?
The Terrain and Equinox do get terrible gas mileage for the segment.
Quit being an enabler to mediocrity and grow some courage to call out GM’s inferior product and push them to up their game.
Or they can join the ranks of failed automakers over the past 125 years. Oldsmobile, Mercury, Plymouth, Pontiac and many others say hi.
They’re basically forced and have no choice but to offer such a high discount rate to get people to buy these vehicles with that stupid and pathetic four cylinder engine! It’s so very obvious that that’s the reason!! People are not liking that creepy engine, so an incentive to buy the Terrain has to be offered or else they’d be sitting on dealer lots forever.
chris , have you Ever driven a terrain with the 1.5 turbo?? i have, we have had two of them now and I love the turbo pull at just the right rpm ( LOW). and the Gas mileage is great, 34 highway is great to me… I do HATE the Push Button bullshit transmission setup, looks like GMC got smart and killed it for 2025.
Chris , Ever DRIVE one? I have and Love it , the TURBO makes all the difference, get over the number of cylinders.
Yet the competition offers more powerful engines or atleast the CHOICE of more powerful engines.
Ford? Check
Nissan? Check
Toyota? Check
Honda? Check
Dodge? Check
Kia? Check
Hyundai? Check
Nevermind that GM doesn’t even offer a hybrid while a lot of the competitors do. The Equinox and Terrain are pure General Mediocrity products. Throwing large touchscreens on the inside doesn’t change that.
