GMC Hummer EV Lease Program Available In October 2024

In October 2024, a GMC Hummer EV lease is still available nationwide on both the 2024 GMC Hummer EV Pickup and 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV.

No other discounts or incentives are offered on the all-electric off-road supertruck.

Notably, the GMC Hummer EV Pickup and Hummer EV SUV do not qualify for the U.S. EV tax credit of $7,500 because their respective MSRP exceeds the $80,000 maximum set by the Clean Vehicle Credit rules.

About GMC Hummer EV Pickup

Production of the 2024 GMC Hummer EV Pickup began a year ago June, with the nameplate introducing a handful of significant changes and updates over the preceding 2023 model. That includes the launch of two entry-level trim levels, the 2X and 2, though GM Authority has learned that the “base” 2 trim has officially been dropped, and never reached production anyway. The range-topping 3X trim level rounds out the all-electric Hummer pickup truck lineup for the 2024 model year.

Another critical update for the 2024 Hummer EV Pickup is the introduction of the new Omega Edition, which won’t return for the 2025 model year. This limited-run variant includes a unique matte paint finish, unique wheels, and a few other unique accents.

Both Hummer EV models ride on the GM BT1 platform, powered by Ultium Batteries and Ultium Drive motors.

The 2025 GMC Hummer EV gets the Sky Panel Storage Set back and offers a new Dark Essentials Package. Check out all the 2025 Hummer EV Pickup paint colors, interior colorways, and wheel options.

Pricing uncovered for the 2025 Hummer EV Pickup shows that it is available in just two trims, specifically 2X and 3X. The 2X comes with a dual-motor setup and 20-module battery. The 3X trim level receives a tri-motor setup with a 20-module battery, while a 24-module battery is also available in the Pickup. Notably, MSRPs are unchanged for both trims compared to the 2024 model year, including the destination freight charge of $2,295. That being said, GMC is offering an early reservation credit amounting to $8,150 for the 2X trim and $6,250 for the 3X trim. Here pricing with options and packages.

About GMC Hummer EV SUV

The 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV launched with the Edition 1, with “about 2,500” units to be built, featuring standard 22-inch premium wheels, assist steps, and floor liners, as well as all-wheel-steering. Motivation is sourced from a three-motor drivetrain and 20-module battery pack, providing a maximum of 830 horsepower and more than 300 miles between charges. Based on the 3X trim level, it comes with an exclusive Moonshot Green Matte paint highlighted by complementary black and silver trim bits to provide a splash of custom flair to the special edition of the SUV’s inaugural year.

The 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV also gets the new Omega Edition, like the Pickup. Additionally, the SUV receives a new Bronze Beadlock Package, which includes a few bits and pieces to enhance the off-roader’s capabilities, complementary styling bits to go with the theme, and a new Cargo Utility Package as an LPO add-on. An Extreme Off-Road Package will be available for the Hummer SUV 2X and 3X trim levels, in addition to the range-topping GMC Hummer EV SUV Edition 1.

Finally, the 2024 Hummer EV SUV gets a power-operated swing gate, setting it apart from the Pickup, which incorporates the manually-operated MultiPro tailgate with six functional load/access features and EZ Lift operation.

Both Hummer EV models ride on the GM BT1 platform, powered by GM batteries and GM electric drive motors.

  1. Hysterical. And GGM is wasting all that money by being the lead sponsor of the Sunday pre-game show (on Fox) and running numerous commercials during games. For this thing that shouldn’t ever have been green-lighted.
At least GM, unlike Ford, isn’t decontenting ICEs to encourage buyers into EVs with added content. Maybe that’s next. And it will implode.

  2. My local GMC dealership has 40 Hummer EVs with discounts piling up on their lot. WTF?
Too bad for the schmuck that paid $100K over MSRP just to be the first to own one.

    1. You must have counted wrong TT or everything you saw is already sold. I’m pretty sure GM said they had 90,000 reservations for the Hummer EV and it was sold out for two years.

Given that they’ve only produced about 13,000 units in three model years, they’ve got a long way to go to fill those 90,000 orders and couldn’t possibly have unsold inventory in stock yet.

  3. They cost 100,000 and you can lease them cheaper than a 70,000 Tahoe I hope GM loses their as on them

  4. Evs are a scam. All manufacturer’s goal is to price ICE vehicles all the way up with no added value or changes to a comparable price with EVS to make them more attractive and hopefully force buyers into buying EV’S don’t fall for it. Buy something 30 years old that’s easy to fix. Green energy is a scam, and manufacturers can’t give these EVS away. They’re forcing them on the dealers and the executive so they can get them off the books. All of our GM reps are now forced to drive EVS. My gas is GM will be owned partially by Toyota Honda somebody else in the future. Mary is a fool!

    1. Mary doubled-down on her pledge for GM to be all-EV by 2035 in an interview today with the New York Times. She said they’re not changing course and she expects to start making money on EVs by the end of the year. She said the results of the presidential election won’t impact their future product plans either although current EV subsidies from the federal government could change depending on those results.

She seems to have dug her heals in.
