Costco Members Get A GMC Hummer EV Rebate

If we’re looking to buy or lease a new GMC Hummer EV Pickup or GMC Hummer EV SUV and are also a member of Costco, a $1,000 members-only rebate off the vehicle’s price is now available thanks to the Costco Auto Program.

The special limited-time offer can be applied to GMC Hummer EV vehicles from the 2023, 2024, or 2025 model years that are being sold or leased as new, and isn’t available for used vehicles.

To get this special GMC Hummer EV incentive, it’s necessary for a customer to have been a Costco member by September 30th, 2024, making it impossible to register now just in order to get the rebate. The special incentive is available between October 1st, 2024 and January 2nd, 2025, or an approximate total of three months.

The Costco member must register with the Costco Auto Program as the next step in the process. This registration can be completed quickly and easily using an online form, or by calling the Costco Auto Program call center using a toll-free telephone number. Once registration is complete, the member gets a $1,000 Savings Certificate.

Taking the Savings Certificate to the dealership, the $1,000 special incentive will be applied immediately to a GMC Hummer EV purchase. This rebate stacks with dealer and company incentives, rather than replacing them, giving an extra thousand off on top of existing savings. Since this applies only to purchase or lease of new vehicles, it only works at official GMC dealerships.

As a reminder, pricing starts at $98,845 for the 2X trim of both 2024 and 2025 GMC Hummer EV variants, while the 3X trim with a 20-module battery is priced at $106,945. The Pickup 3X with the 24-module battery starts at $116,940 for both model years.

The 2025 Pickup and SUV will continue to use Combined Charging System Combo 1 (CCS) and five-pin SAE J1772 connectors for charging. The promised NACS charging standard compatibility is expected to arrive for the 2026 model year. Two or three GM Ultium Drive motors motivate the vehicle depending on trim level, with electricity supplied by GM Ultium battery technology.

Both GMC Hummer EV configurations ride on the GM BT1 platform. Production takes place at the GM Factory Zero plant in Michigan, formerly known as the GM Detroit-Hamtramck plant.

  1. Beyond hysterical. Save money by penny-pinching on groceries just to make that absurd Hummer payment.
Makes a TON of sense to me. LOL. How arrogant, GM.
