About Chevrolet Express
The 2024 Chevy Express arrived with two new transmissions, which are the only changes for the Passenger Van, Cargo Van, and Cutaway configurations. While the 2024 Chevy Express cargo van initially dropped the naturally aspirated 6.6L V8 L8T gasoline engine, it is now available again. It joins the atmospheric 4.3L V6 LV1 gasoline engine as the only two powerplants offered in the 2024 Express. Check out the 2024 Chevy Express towing capacities.
Additionally, 2024 Chevy Express infotainment system upgrades are no longer available, leaving the 2024 Express with only one infotainment option: the base audio system, which consists of an AM/FM stereo with an MP3 player. That system includes an auxiliary jack and two front-door speakers.

Pricing for the 2024 Chevy Express shows significant increases, ranging from $1,600 to $2,900 (including cargo, passenger, and cutaway models). The destination freight charge also increases by $100 to $1,895.
The online configurator tool is live for the 2024 Express.
The 2025 Chevy Express drops the audio system upgrade – the AM/FM stereo with MP3 player and USB port – along with several other features and options. In practical terms, this means that the 2025 Express will no longer have a CD player or USB port, while Bluetooth connectivity is available through a dealer-installed connection kit. It also offers a new rearview camera mirror.
Pricing uncovered for the 2025 Express shows that nearly all 2025 GMC Savana configurations are considerably pricier than respective 2024-model-year equivalents.
Production of the 2025 Express begins off this month.
While the Chevy Express and GMC Savana were thought to be discontinued after the 2025 model year, GM previously entertained plans to redesign the Chevy Express for the 2027 model year, keeping the ICE powertrain, it seems that it has canceled these plans, instead electing to simply rebadge the all-electric BrightDrop vans as Chevys.
GM has sold more than 3 million Chevy Express and GMC Savana units to date.

Comments
I’d love to know how much GM makes off of each one of these they sell. The design is from 1996 so the tooling was likely paid off over 20 years ago. At $50,000 per unit for such an old and rudimentary design, this may be the most profitable vehicle GM sells.
I would speculate that this vehicle alone is covering a lot of GM’s EV losses.
I have had a combination of 5 ordered since 2022 chevrolet and gmc haven’t seen 1 yet.
GM better not be wondering why Ford vans are outselling them 5:1.
The Express would never be first place, but it could’ve been a solid second-place seller if GM gave any kind of # about it and the people who need them. Fleets don’t forget how you’ve treated them, and GM’s position is likely unrecoverable now.
A while back it was rumored these would get the 2.7L and 3.0L in a future update.
Can’t see the 3.0 fitting, though.
