About Chevy Equinox

At the beginning of the year, GM unveiled the all-new 2025 Chevy Equinox, debuting the fourth generation of its popular compact crossover. Highlights include larger screens in the cabin, many new safety features, and the new-for-2025 Activ trim level, offering a more rugged setup for outdoorsy activities. The 2025 Chevy Equinox is wider and taller than the 2024 model, with a slightly more spacious interior.

The new Equinox is equipped with various new tech features and benefits from the GM Global B electronic architecture. Furthermore, the updated crossover gets traffic sign recognition and offers heated wiper park.

Here are all the interior colors and a visual comparison of the LT vs. the LT Midnight Edition.

However, the next-generation model offers the same turbocharged 1.5L I4 LSD gasoline engine as before, placing its powertrain mid-pack among competitors. Consequently, the 2025 Equinox fuel economy ratings show it to be slightly less efficient compared to the preceding generation.

Here are the 2025 Equinox towing capacities, and accessories are incoming.

Pricing for the 2025 Chevy Equinox reveals a starting MSRP of $29,995 for the new base-level LT trim with front-wheel drive and $36,395 for the Activ and RS trim levels with all-wheel drive. Prices include a destination freight charge of $1,395. Check out 2025 Equinox pricing with options and packages.

  1. Had best get a LOT higher, sooner than later. After potential buyers’ eyeballs pop out of their heads looking at the big increases over the ’24 (when comparably equipped, note), they’ll be running out of the showrooms.

    1. The 2024 old body style LT started at $30k. The new body style 2025 LT starts at $31k. Yea, “big” increase…..sarcasm in case it didn’t come across that way.

  2. These are nice looking vehicles but the fact that the ONLY option for power is the 4 cylinder makes them a complete no go. What a disappointment. Have to be able to option more power with these and the GMC.

  3. 289 for 36month lease isn’t bad no security deposit . Too bad the engine wasn’t 2.0l it would really be hot seller still good deals though. You might as well get base LT I don’t see reason go higher than that.

  4. Pick up my 2025 Active next week. After driving it I was really impressed with the pick up and handling of the vehicle. The dash is really crazy looking, like flying a spaceship. The Sueded Microfiber Seats are very impressive.

  5. Hopefully there made better then the 2017. The engines are junk. Replace mine and that engine licks oil too. The problem is not covered in the waninty because they new it was bad and sold them anyway. There was a law suit against them and they lost. But my year was not covered under it because it was a newer year. Same engine, same junk.
