Check Out This GMC Sierra HD AT4X Riding On Vossen LCX-03 Wheels

A fresh set of images were recently posted online showing the GMC Sierra HD AT4X sporting a slick set of Vossen LCX-03 wheels, offering a peek at this heavy-duty off-roader with some tasty modifications. The wheels measure in at 24 inches in diameter and 12 inches in width, and are paired with Nitto Ridge Grappler tires sized at 315/45R24. The Vossen wheels are also finished in a hue dubbed Dark Smoke, creating a nice complement to the truck’s grey exterior and lending a tough yet stylish look.

Vossen offers its LCX-03 wheels with a variety of options and customization opportunities, including diameters ranging between 20 to 24 inches, and wheel widths between 9 and 14 inches. Buyers can also choose from 48 different wheel finishes. Pricing, however, isn’t cheap, with Vossen listing a starting price at $2,500 per wheel.

In addition to the upgraded wheels, this particular GMC Sierra HD AT4X also boasts several other modifications, including Recon fender lights and a Cognito Motorsports Super Stock kit. The Cognito kit adds in a number of different components, such as a Cognito SM Series Upper Control Arm Kit, pivot bushings, ball joints, and a Pitman and Idler Arm Support Kit. Additionally, it includes extenders for the factory DSSV front shocks.

Under the hood, this GMC Sierra HD AT4X is equipped with the optional 6.6L V8 L5P turbodiesel Duramax engine, which delivers a hearty 470 horsepower and 975 pound-feet of torque. The standard engine for the Sierra HD AT4X is the naturally aspirated 6.6L V8 L8T gasoline engine, which generates 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque. Both engines are mated to the Allison-branded 10-speed automatic transmission.

Standard features for the GMC Sierra HD AT4X include a steel transfer case skid plate and an aluminum front skid plate, both designed to protect vital components during off-road excursions. The truck rides on a more capable variant of the GM T1 platform.

  1. I am assuming these aren’t factory wheels? At $2500 per wheel for a worse ride and showering your vehicle with rocks and mud (and others’ vehicles most likely) what’s the point?
