Cadillac has officially launched its second experience store in Germany, marking a further expansion to the luxury marque’s business in the European market. The new Cadillac experience store opened its doors in the city of Hamburg, giving local customers a chance to experience all-electric Caddy models like the Lyriq and Optiq. Cadillac first launched its all-electric business in Germany back in May.
The new experience store is located on Poststraße 6, 20354, near Binnenalster lake.
“We didn’t wait long to open our second Cadillac experience store in Germany, this time in the beautiful city of Hamburg!” the luxury marque writes on social media. “It was fantastic to celebrate with so many Cadillac enthusiasts and introduce both the Lyriq and Optiq to a city that shares our passion for exceptional design.”
Photos of the store show a prominent Cadillac logo facing the street, with broad panes of glass showing off some the brand’s latest all-electric models. Inside, customers can get up close and personal with Caddy’s all-electric crossovers and learn more about what they have to offer.
Cadillac launched its new all-electric business in Germany as part of the brand’s broader plans to expand in the European market with a slew of new all-electric models. The new Lyriq serves as the vanguard inof the new the expansion. The brand previously maintained a limited presence in the region with a relatively sparse dealer network, but now aims to offer a seamless direct purchasing experience.
The brand’s first German experience store opened up in the city of Frankfurt this past September. In addition to the Lyriq and Optiq, GM Europe plans to offer several other zero-emission, Ultium-based models in the European market, including the ultra-luxury Celestiq flagship sedan, the Escalade IQ SUV, and the all-new Vistiq crossover.
The Lyriq was recently recognized as the German Luxury Car of the Year, marking the first instance in which an American brand has taken the award home.
