Two months after announcing the first-ever Cadillac Sydney Experience Center in Australia, General Motors has just confirmed the Cadillac Auckland Experience Center in New Zealand.
The automaker has confirmed the all-new Cadillac Auckland Experience Center as the luxury brand’s first permanent, fully owned location in New Zealand, revealing details and the first official concept images of Cadillac’s new home in the country. The Auckland Experience Centre in the city of New Zealand is currently under construction and is set to officially open in the second quarter of next year.
“The Cadillac brand is bold, luxurious, and future facing, so this incredible Karangahape Road location is the perfect launching pad for Cadillac in New Zealand,” said Managing Director of GM Australia and New Zealand, Jess Bala. “From the outset, we’ve said we want to bring Cadillac to the people, and not the other way around, so a location just moments from Auckland’s CBD makes experiencing vehicles like the Lyriq easy,” she added.
In particular, the all-new Cadillac Auckland Experience Center is located in a modern, colonial-style two-story building on Karangahape Road, one of the main streets just outside Auckland’s Central Business District (CBD). As such, the Auckland Experience Centre will break the traditional automotive retail paradigm by being nestled amongst multiple boutiques, bars and restaurants on one of the most vibrant streets in New Zealand’s city.
Built in collaboration with design and architecture studio Gensler – also responsible for the design of Cadillac’s first showroom in Switzerland and Australia, the all-new Cadillac Auckland Experience Center promises to lead the way in design on Karangahape Road by taking advantage of the selected building with an exposed brick façade and large glazed windows, which will also house GM New Zealand’s headquarters in a dedicated space.
The first images of the all-new Cadillac Auckland Experience Center show it will feature a state-of-the-art interior that combines textured grey colors with modern furnishings and bold lighting. The center will include a dedicated vehicle delivery area with a luxurious guest lounge, a walkway for special vehicles, a design/personalization center and a service center. Its doors are set to open in early Q2 2025.
