A high-speed chase video involving a Chevy Silverado HD and Arkansas State Police was recently posted online, capturing the pursuit as it unfolded on a series of twisting two-lane backroads. The video shows a blue Chevy Silverado HD 3500 attempting to evade law enforcement, traveling at high speeds before Arkansas Police flip the script on the heavy-duty pickup with a PIT maneuver. The video ends with the suspect taken into custody.
According to a police report, the incident took place on October 9th, 2024 after Arkansas State Police were called in to assist in locating a suspect with multiple felony warrants. The suspect, apparently known for evading law enforcement, was spotted by two bail bondsmen from City Bail Bonds Inc., who witnessed the individual leaving the scene in a Silverado HD 3500. The bondsmen followed at a distance, relaying real-time location updates to police.
When officers caught up with the vehicle, they attempted a standard traffic stop. However, the driver, not interested in surrendering, took off, quickly escalating the incident into a full-blown pursuit. The Silverado HD can be seen tearing down the two-lane roads at speeds well over the limit, crossing into oncoming lanes and recklessly endangering other motorists.
The police finally executed a Tactical Vehicle Intervention (TVI) after a six-mile chase. At the five-minute, ten-second mark in the video, a pursuing officer is seen making contact with the rear end of the Silverado HD, carefully using a PIT maneuver to spin the pickup and bring it to a stop.
The suspect was apprehended on-site and transported to jail, and now faces a series of new charges including fleeing, reckless driving, criminal mischief, driving on a suspended driver’s license, and driving with fictitious tags. Despite the Silverado’s impressive heft, it was no match for the precision and strategy of Arkansas law enforcement.

Can you explain the relevance of posting police videos of crooks or AHs attempting to evade police and the resulting PIT maneuvers?
What are you trying to convey other than crooks and idiots buy GM vehicles?
