The 2025 Cadillac Escalade debuts a mid-cycle refresh replete with important changes across the lineup – including the go-fast Cadillac Escalade-V. Among the changes is new styling, both inside and out, with an overhauled cabin headlined by a new infotainment setup and, as GM Authority just covered, new carbon fiber trim for the 2025 Escalade-V. Notably, the 2025 Escalade-V also introduces a few key changes to the steering wheel.
Compared to the preceding 2024 model year, the steering wheel in the 2025 Escalade-V presents a completely new design. The new wheel incorporates silver trim bits around the center section, surrounding a series of buttons and switches in the center, while the prominent lower spokes form a V shape around the bottom of the wheel. While the steering wheel in the 2024 Escalade-V is similar, the wheel in the 2025 Cadillac Escalade-V has a broader, chunkier shape, with less angle for the inner spoke layout.
Also notable is the V-Series badge placed in the center of the wheel. This differs from the 2024 model year, which included the Cadillac crest in the center of the steering wheel.
As GM Authority covered previously, the 2025 Cadillac Escalade-V is also equipped with new carbon fiber trim, which is an exclusive feature for the Escalade-V model variant and isn’t offered anywhere else in the 2025 Escalade lineup. The new carbon trim replaces the Zebra wood trim equipped previously for the 2023 and 2024 model years.
Further updates for the 2025 model year include a full-width, coast-to-coast infotainment screen mounted on top of the dash. This massive infotainment screen is equipped as standard across the 2025 Cadillac Escalade trim level lineup, and can also be found in the all-electric Cadillac Escalade IQ.
As for the greasy bits, the 2025 Escalade-V carries over the same supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine equipped for the prior two model years, rated at 682 horsepower and 653 pound-feet of torque. The GM T1 platform provides the underpinnings, while vehicle assembly takes place at the GM Arlington plant in Texas.

Can we get another screen please? The center of the steering wheel looks too empty. At least make it a digital emblem so it matches………
i hate that floating middle lower screen…
also not a fan of the speaker being on the edge of the main screen
honestly.. questionable choices but ill have to go play with one first for final verdict.
