2025 Chevy Tahoe And Suburban 24-Inch Wheel Options Detailed

The 2025 Chevy Tahoe and 2025 Chevy Suburban both present a bold new look, dropping in with a more truck-like attitude in conjunction with their mid-cycle refresh. Notably, these two full-sizers now offer 24-inch wheels from the factory, a first for both nameplates (and something GM Authority was first to tell you about). Now, GM Authority is taking a closer look at the new 24-inch wheel options on offer for the 2025 Chevy Tahoe and 2025 Chevy Suburban, all while asking – which do you prefer?

The first of these new wheel designs is tagged with RPO code RF1, and presents a painted Carbon Flash Metallic finish. Offered as optional on the RST trim level, the 24-inch RF1 wheels show an angular, two-tone finish that combines a series of sharp, geometric shapes. These shapes create a strong, eye-catching pattern, complemented by black accents with bright silver highlights along the edges. The five split-spoke layout adds a 3D look to the wheel, while the contrasting colors lend it a dynamic flair and do well to underline the RST’s sporty attitude.

Up next, we have our second set of 24-inch wheel designs, dubbed the 24-inch bright machined wheels and painted High Gloss Black. These particular rollers are optional for the range-topping High Country trim level, lending the 2025 Chevy Tahoe and 2025 Chevy Suburban a sense of luxury thanks to an intricate, multi-spoke design. Each spoke incorporates a tiered structure, creating a layered effect as it radiates outward from the center. A black base with silver accents along the edges of each spoke underline this upscale appearance.

Both sets of optional 24-inch wheels cost $2,225, and both are wrapped in a set of 285/40R24 all-season blackwall tires (RPO code QKN).

As a reminder, the 2025 Chevy Tahoe and 2025 Chevy Suburban both offer a total of three powertrain options, including the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine, the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine, and the new-for-2025 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax engine, the latter of which replaces the 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel Duramax offered prior to the recent 2025-model-year refresh. Both SUVs ride on the GM T1 platform, while vehicle assembly takes place at the GM Arlington plant in Texas.

  2. No polished, brushed aluminum w/chrome? Not everyone wants black wheels

    1. Then don’t get the 24s. Plenty of 22s available with no black/accents.

  3. When will 30 inch wagon wheels be available? I mean come on the ever-increasing wheel size is getting ridiculous. I can imagine, given the pathetic condition of a lot of the roads in my area, what the ride would be like. Then there’s the real possibility of damage to the tires and/or wheels occurring. Something tells me the tires are not going to be long-mileage champs, so I wonder how much a new set of 24 inch tires is going to cost? Sorry GM – thanks, but no thanks.

    1. What you stated is exactly why the 24s are optional. No one is being forced to get them.

That said, you’d be surprised how much demand there is for a wheel of this size. The aftermarket has been putting 24s on the GM full-size SUVs for years now.

  4. I’ll take the far more sensible 20″ wheels thank you. Those are plenty big enough.

  5. No surprise on some of the comments here, likely the same tired complaints when 20″ then 22″ wheels became optional or standard on SUVs and trucks.
Are they for every application? No, but neither are mudder tires and wheels, and GM gives plenty of options.
The lastest Gen of GM full size SUV’s looked unproportionatley top heavy compared to the last Gen, but the updated exterior designs for 2025 and the larger wheels help that appearance.
