Just days following the official premiere of the all-new 2025 Chevy Equinox EV in Brazil, General Motors has just launched Chevrolet’s all-electric crossover in the South American country.
The company’s Brazilian subsidiary officially launched the all-new 2025 Chevy Equinox EV in the country, where the model has been positioned in the premium zero-emission crossover segment as “a true high-tech SUV” by offering cutting-edge technological equipment and the longest driving range in its category. As anticipated by the automaker, deliveries of the 2025 Equinox EV will begin in the Brazilian market later this month.
“The EV model complements the Equinox line. It is an additional option to Chevrolet’s high-end portfolio and was designed to meet the needs of families looking for an SUV that is ahead of its time,” said Product Marketing Director of GM South America, Paula Saiani. “The Equinox EV is a high-tech car with striking looks, large internal space, innovative comfort, connectivity and safety equipment, and a highly energy-efficient engine,” she added.
Available exclusively in a single configuration equivalent to a well-equipped LT trim level, the all-new 2025 Chevy Equinox EV arrives in Brazil as the brand’s first vehicle featuring two motors and all-wheel drive offered in the country, providing bold performance both in the city and on the highway. It also stands out for including the most advanced connectivity package in its class with a 17.7-inch touchscreen, an on-board Wi-Fi hotspot, a Google built-in interface with EV-specific navigation, OnStar and the myChevrolet App.
In particular, the Brazilian-market 2025 Chevy Equinox EV’s dual-motor AWD setup delivers 292 horsepower and 346 pound-feet of torque. It also features an 85 kWh battery pack that provides the longest electric range in the category at 443 km or 275 miles on a single charge, according to the Inmetro cycle, along with the fastest charging speeds at 22 kW (AC) and 150 kW (DC), 3.5 times faster than those of most EVs on the market.
The all-new 2025 Chevy Equinox EV is now available to order in Brazil and will begin arriving at dealerships later this month, with units imported from the GM Ramos Arizpe plant in Mexico. Its price is 419,000 reais or $74,230 USD at the current exchange rate.

A co-worker of mine just picked up his new Equinox EV two weeks ago. So far he loves it and he traded in a GMC Canyon truck. According to him, just his savings in gas costs will pay for his lease payment.
