A small but notable change is coming to the color palette of the 2025 Buick Envision compact crossover. White Frost Tricoat (color code GE8) is going away and being replaced by Iridescent White Tricoat (GEP).
While the new white replaces the old white, availability is unchanged. Iridescent White Tricoat is optional across all three trim levels: Preferred, Sport Touring, and Avenir. Adding it to the Envision Preferred or Envision Sport Touring costs an extra $1,095, and adding the premium paint option to the top Avenir trim sets you back an extra $600. This is the only paint option that costs extra on the Avenir model.
The other white paint option on the Buick Envision is Summit White (GAZ). This is the only no-cost paint option for the Preferred and Sport Touring trims, and it’s unavailable on the Envision Avenir.
The 2025 Buick Envision marks the second year into a recent refresh for the premium crossover. The 2024 update features revisions to the exterior styling, a revised cabin, and a suite of standard safety features. The 2024 Buick Envision is getting a short model year, having just started production on August 21st, 2024 at the GM-SAIC Jinqiao Plant in China following a series of delays.
The refreshed exterior design language draws inspiration from the Buick Wildcat EV concept, which has been seen across the Tri-Shield brand’s model lineup. This includes a reworked front fascia with a new grille and dual-tier headlamps, along with a revised rear fascia that features a new bumper and revised taillamps.
Inside, the crossover gets an all-new 30-inch diagonal infotainment and control screen in the cockpit, and standard Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control, Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian and Bicycle Braking, and Rear Cross Traffic Braking safety tech. Notably, the Super Cruise hands-free driving system is not available in the updated Envision, despite Buick previously saying it would be.
Under the hood, the 2025 Buick Envision is powered by the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine, rated at 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Output is directed to the standard AWD drivetrain via the GM nine-speed automatic transmission. The crossover is underpinned by the GM E2 platform, and pricing for the 2025 model begins at $37,895.

I’m guessing the new hue is a bit prettier.
I have an encore GX and a verano both not made in the US.
I can’t be sure but I don’t think anything that sold as a Buick today is made in the US.
I wish they would bring back a car or an SUV for $20,000 as decent basic transportation
