This Sarcastic ‘Buy A Corvette Meme’ Makes A Strong Argument

It turns out you don’t have an excuse for not owning a Chevy Corvette. At least, that’s the rather persuasive argument made by a Corvette meme that’s been making the rounds on social media lately. Even the unemployed are not exempt from owning this sports car. Here’s a look at the meme itself.

Per this Corvette meme, if you don’t already own a Corvette, you may have been squandering your funds on things like groceries and utilities when you should have been using that cash to buy one. After all, who needs to eat three meals a day? Maybe you were so concerned with heating your home last winter when you could have just thrown on some extra sweaters and used that money you wasted on the gas or electric bill and bought a Corvette. You could be plenty warmed by an engine that puts out over 1,000 horsepower anyway. It comes down to having the right priorities, people.

But you might be wondering how you could possibly afford to buy a Corvette when rent is so high these days. That’s the beauty of owning a Corvette – you could live in it, combining both home and transportation into one monthly bill. Sure, there’s not a whole lot of room in a Corvette to “live”, per se. But having adequate shelter is overrated. Some of us have become so used to outrageous luxuries like running water and a place to shower in our homes that we’ve lost perspective and have forgotten what should be the goal for every one of us – owning a Corvette. In fact, buying a Corvette just may be the perfect answer to the housing crisis.

Even folks who own nothing could be guilty of hoarding their own soul when instead they should have sold it and bought a Corvette. What good is having a soul when you are forced to trudge through your existence without a Corvette? Fortunately, this meme has arrived to remind us all of what is truly important in life – owning a Chevy Corvette.

This poll has concluded.

B L Johnson has owned multiple Chevy vehicles though the years and is the kind of guy who would rather change his own sparkplugs than pay someone else to do it.

    1. Wrong website, thong..
It’s apparent that you have never heard the sound of an American V8 such as this!
Keep buying the bloody POS like that and leave the real American metal for the rest of us.

          See that questions mark?

Let me make it easier. My reply was to Tangled and it means:

Hey Tangled if you think the Jag sounds better than a C8 Z06 flat plane crank Vette there is something wrong with your hearing.

Now read it again and make note of the questions mark.

Notice there is no indent after your post? that’s because I was replying to Tangled and not you.

  3. I have a Torch Red 2011 Corvette Grand Sport Coupe, 3LT, six speed manual, with black leather interior and nearly every option available at the time. I bought it new and I’m the only person who has ever driven it. It only has 6,800 miles on the odometer.
