See The Cadillac Sollei Concept In Different Colors: Photos

The gorgeous Cadillac Sollei concept, revealed in July, is the latest in Cadillac’s rich history of presenting stunning concept cars. Essentially a two-door convertible version of the Celestiq ultra-luxury electric sedan, the Sollei reimagines the traditional luxury convertible as a cutting-edge, high-tech EV. In a nod to Cadillac convertibles of the past, the concept is finished in Manilla Cream, a paint option offered between 1957 and 1958.

We think the Cadillac Sollei looks gorgeous in this retro paint color, but the color might not be everyone’s cup of tea. So, we took it upon ourselves to make some renderings of the Sollei in different paint and interior combinations. These colors make it absolutely clear that the Sollei is a stunner from a design standpoint.

White on White

This white-on-white color combo might be a bit conservative for such a daring design, but white paint is always good for highlighting good body design. It makes the body lines pop, and the white interior contributes to a clean, premium aesthetic.

Purple on Brown

This dark purple paint and brown interior make the Sollei a bit more of a fashion accessory. It does a good job of making it look bold yet subdued.

Mauve on Brown

This mauve and brown color scheme is like a different take on the Manilla Cream concept that Cadillac presented. It’s a very earthy look that’s perfect for putting the top down and reconnecting with nature.

Green on Brown

This is a British Racing Green paint color that may be more at home on a Jaguar, but it looks stunning on the Sollei. A nice saddle brown interior perfectly complements the paint.

Burgundy on Purple

If the darker purple is too subtle, this burgundy paint is a bit more showy, and there’s nothing bolder than a purple interior. It may not be for everyone, but Cadillac is leaning into individuality as it pushes further upmarket.

Blue on Blue

Enjoy the blue sky with the top down in this blue Sollei with a blue interior. This one would be just right for cruising from your Malibu mansion up the Pacific Coast Highway.

Black on Red

If there’s some kind of performance package offered for the potential production version of the Sollei, this would be the color scheme you want. Black paint with a red interior makes us think of serious, high-performance luxury sports cars. While the Sollei isn’t a sports car, per se, we’re all about this one’s sporty aesthetic.

Since the Celestiq is so bespoke to each client, these are color combinations that could plausibly really happen on a tailor-made Sollei model, should it come to production.

Just a nice looking car. Any color would do, but I really do like that light yellow.

My Tesla Roadster was EVERGREEN with TAN seats.. The green used here doesn’t have enough black in it. The later Model S EVERGREEN had too much black and wasn’t attractive either.

Probably the reason that the Roadster had tasteful combinations was that LOTUS (who made the underlying ELISE) had experience making appealing vehicles.

I had to go to the Tesla Toronto area (Mississauga) Service Center for routine service, – they told me not a single Canadian bought the color combo I had so they loved it when I pulled in…

I think they loved more what they charged me, namely taking far more valuable $USD at par. Usually about $1,000.

Fortunately, A local Nissan dealership decided to become a LOTUS dealer, so I got my work done there afterwards.

Why do they waste time and money on these concept cars? For once, actually build this car, it is beautiful.

How much you want to bet someone in Warren watched Agatha Christie’s “Murder in Three Acts” – where “EGG” drives a Lemon (or Vanilla if you prefer) 1957 Caddy Convertible?

No doubt the Designers were taken by EGG’s good looks, and made the projection that driving around in such a car will help their Love Life. Of course, since she drove with a Lead Foot, the modern release had to be over-powered.

They’ve made more of the older caddy than they will make of the new one, unfortunately, but the older one is the better value.
