When it comes to styling options, the C8 Corvette has plenty to choose from, including a long list of interior colors and materials to spec the mid-engine sports car as you see fit. Among the various interior color schemes (also known as “colorways”) are a number of two-tone and dipped options. Which leads us to wonder – do you prefer the Corvette two-tone, or dipped interior?
Looking over the options list for the 2024 Chevy Corvette, we find four options for the dipped interior colorways, including:
- Adrenaline Red
- Natural Dipped
- Tension Blue / Twilight Blue Dipped
- Artemis
For those readers who may be unaware, GM uses the term “dipped” to refer to colors that are applied throughout the cabin without prominent contrasting colors. This differs from a two-tone interior colorway, which, as you might guess, includes dual colors. That said, the Tension Blue / Twilight Blue Dipped interior colorway seems to straddle these two options with a light blue and a darker blue used throughout, but that’s a topic for another day.
By contrast, the two-tone colors incorporate two widely different interior color options for the design, such as Custom Jet Black / Adrenaline Red, or Custom Sky Cool Gray / Jet Black. These color combos could add a bit more spice to the cabin layout, but for some buyers, a two-tone layout may be a bit too busy for their tastes.
It’s also worth mentioning that the C8 Corvette offers a wide variety of fabrics for the seats and various surfaces, including Mulan leather, Napa leather, Performance textile, perforated inserts, and perforated sueded microfiber inserts. There are multiple seats types on offer as well, such as the GT1, GT2, and Competition. Check out our previous coverage of the 2024 Chevy Corvette interior colors for a more thorough breakdown of what’s on offer. Finally, the 2025 Corvette will add a new Habanero interior colorway to the list, so be on the lookout for that.
So, with all that covered, we still want to know – do you prefer the Corvette two-tone, or dipped interiors? Let us know by voting in the poll below, and don’t forget to voice your opinion by posting in the comments!

Dipped for sure. However, I’m not fond of the term “dipped”. Having truly choices for different interiors is wonderful.
I love the 2 tone it sets it apart from all 1 color stuff, to cheap looking>
Dipped, have a C7 with the split finish interior and don’t care for it. “LOVE” the Dipped Adreline Red C8 interior.
Shows how we are all different! I have a C7 dipped in black. Tired of the old boring black. I just ordered a new C8 yesterday with 2 tone interior. It is gorgeous! I ordered the Black seat with light gray trim on the Red Mist paint. This car is drop dead gorgous!
I have the 2 toned sky cool gray and black interior in my 2021 C8 convertible.
Surprised that GM has not yet been sued for causing an accident due to the sky cool gray top-of-dash “swoops” reflecting in the windshield so badly they obscure your view of things like… pedestrians.
Did no one even test the concept of using light colored accents on top of a dark colored dash before actually manufacturing it for sale?
The dipped seat colors all look dirty from the ventilation holes – the all black with white stitching just looks cheap – now the color override fee needs to go – I dont need the clowns who brought us pea soup green and tugboat gray advising me on color choices
Two Tone 👍🏻👌🏻👏🏻🍻‼️
That is what I have on my 2023 Z06 3LZ Convertble
Red Mist and Natural
Two tone with red/black interior. I get lots of compliments on the interior. Looks much better than all black.
The seats are also two tone with red bolsters with red inserts.
I have two tone 3LT red/ black interior on 2023 hypersonic gray exterior with red accents…many compliments even at Carlysle rally.
I had the Natural Dipped in my 2020 and when I ordered my 2024, I ordered it again. We love it.

I have a 2021 Coupe, Torch Red w/body color accents, Natural dipped interior. I covered all interior plastic parts with carbon fiber. Yellow calipers, bright silver painted aluminum wheels. It looks fantastic and I still get a thrill every time I see it. Would do it all over again. Need to always wear polarized sunglasses, though, due to the reflection from the light dash onto the windshield!
When I specked out my 24 I went with grey with black top. Inside is red dipped with stealth package, carbon fiber all the way and black mats. This really makes for a beautiful car. I have two cars with black carpet and I hate it.
I have a 2024 Z06-Z07 black with Red dipped interior, red calipers, red Z06 emblems . My dream car. Absolutely gorgeous car.
