PaxPower Launches 650-HP GMC Yukon JackalSUV And SportSUV Builds: Video

If you’re in the market for a high-performance GM SUV, the supercharged Cadillac Escalade-V certainly fits the bill. But what if you own an SUV from Chevy or GMC? That’s where PaxPower steps in, offering up a variety of upgrades to enhance your vehicle. The Texas-based tuner has already shown off its Chevy Tahoe and Chevy Suburban builds, and now, PaxPower has unveiled what it can do with the GMC Yukon.

PaxPower offers several different builds to suit customer tastes, starting with the off-road-oriented JackalSUV. Highlights for the Jackal include a set of 2.5-inch coilovers from either Fox Factory or Icon Vehicle Dynamics, paired with new tubular steel front upper and rear lower control arms. The new suspension provides the SUV with a three-inch lift in front and one-inch lift in the rear, giving it clearance for 35-inch BFGoodrich K03 all-terrain tires wrapped on custom 20-inch wheels. A Borla S-Type dual exhaust finishes it off. Pricing for the JackalSUV is set at $15,450.

For those customers that prefer their performance on the pavement, there’s also the SportSUV Luxury Build, which modifies the GMC Yukon Denali Ultimate with a lower stance for the factory air-ride system, new custom wheels, refinished trim, and a Borla exhaust. Pricing for the build is set at $7,950.

Of course, the real appeal is the tuner’s 3.0L supercharger upgrade, which can be added to the 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine for big power gains. The twin-screw design throws down with eight pounds of boost, resulting in 650 horsepower and 656 pound-feet of torque, a considerable bump over the factory ratings of 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. The supercharger upgrade is available separate from the JackalSUV and SportSUV builds, and is priced at $15,450.

All three upgrades are available for any 2021 through 2024 GMC Yukon models, as well as the refreshed 2025 GMC Yukon.
