Here’s How Much The 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing Precision Package Will Cost

The 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is a monster, even in completely standard spec. However, there are factory upgrades available that bless the high-performance sedan with even more track prowess, namely the new Precision Package introduced in conjunction with the 2025-model-year refresh. Now, GM Authority has uncovered exactly how much the new 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing Precision Package will cost.

According to GM Authority sources, the 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing Precision Package will be priced at $18,000. As covered previously, the Precision Package will be available in conjunction with both the standard six-speed manual transmission, as well as the optional GM 10-speed automatic.

Indeed, $18,000 isn’t exactly chump change, especially on top of a starting price of $96,990 for the CT5-V Blackwing. So then, what does the package include to justify the expense?

Essentially, the Precision Package is designed specifically for enhanced on-track capability, all without sacrificing the luxury and refinement expected of a Cadillac. As such, the package includes extensive suspension upgrades, such as a increased spring rates, a larger front stabilizer bar, new bushings, new steering knuckles, and new rear toe links. The suspension upgrades enable the user to dial in a more track-friendly alignment, while the package also provides new calibrations for the MagneRide dampers, steering, chassis control, and Electronic Limited-Slip Differential. Finally, the package adds in carbon ceramic brakes as well.

Putting it all together, the new 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing Precision Package is touted as as providing “improved steering precision into the corner apex, increased stability on corner exit and more road feel for spirited driving situations,” per Cadillac.

All good stuff, especially when considering the sort of firepower that lies in wait under the hood. Situated just behind that front-mounted Cadillac badge, you’ll find the supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine, rated at 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque.

Under the body panels, the CT5-V Blackwing rides on the GM Alpha 2 platform, just like the rest of the Cadillac CT5 lineup, while production takes place at the GM Lansing Grand River Assembly plant.

The first units of the 2025 CT5-V Blackwing equipped with the new Precision Package will hit production early next year.

  1. CCBs aren’t a common option at 9k+ and I don’t know why the package is twice that amount other than greed . Good luck to GM

    1. While I’m very “pro” General Motors; I will agree that this is a 100% money grab. As mentioned, everything they are adding doesn’t add nearly anything to the existing cost of the cars (except the carbon ceramic brakes). The car needs all these items to function anyways, so charging and extra $9k-$10k for some suspension refinement seems like a stretch.
