Following up on the 2024 model year mid-cycle refresh of the model, the 2025 Cadillac XT4 drops the Luxury trim level from the lineup, leaving the Premium Luxury and Sport trim, while introducing several other changes. For 2025, the Cadillac XT4 drops two optional safety technologies, Automatic Speed Limit Assist (RPO code ISA) and Traffic Sign Recognition (RPO code UVX). On the flipside, most of the contents of the formerly available Active Safety Package (RPO code AS2) have now become standard safety features for both the Premium Luxury and Sport trim levels.
Pricing for the 2025 Cadillac XT4, as previously revealed by GM Authority, begins at a $41,990 starting MSRP for the Premium Luxury trim configured with FWD. At the top end, the Sport trim starts at $42,790 for FWD and $45,290 for AWD. All of these prices include a destination freight charge of $1,195. The online configurator is available to try out various builds.
For motivation, the 2025 Cadillac XT4 draws power from a single available powerplant, specifically the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine developing 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The GM nine-speed automatic transmission sends power to either standard front-wheel drive and or optional all-wheel drive.
The 2025 XT4 continues to ride on the GM E2 platform. Production takes place at the GM Fairfax Assembly plant in Kansas City. Retooling the facility to produce the next-generation Chevy Bolt EV will lead to a Cadillac XT4 production pause in 2025.
