If you own a 2019- through 2023-model year Chevy Silverado or GMC Sierra, but long for a larger infotainment screen, this aftermarket solution may be the right fit. The upgrade kit includes a massive 15.6-inch tablet-style and a new bezel in which to mount it, directly replacing the factory layout and controls. There’s also a slightly smaller screen on offer for vehicles produced between the 2015 and 2019 model years.
The 15.6-inch screen for the 2019 through 2023 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra features the Android 13.0 operating system and includes built-in Google Play, built-in 4G Wi-Fi, and built-in GPS offline / online map support. The screen supports 1440 by 1920 resolution, with capacitive multi-touch technology, as well as Bluetooth hands-free calling and synchronized contact lists. Audio output is set at 4x45W amplification, and there is support for the auxiliary inputs and AM / FM radio with RDS. Other notable features include an eight-core CPU and 8 GB of RAM.
The screen is mounted in a custom bezel that replaces the factory HVAC controls, relocating the controls on either side of the screen to make more room for screen real estate. The bezel and screen are so large, the kit incorporates new surrounds for the vertically oriented vents on the top of the screen. The screen even includes steering wheel control support.
Pricing is listed at $1,287.
For those customers with slightly older models, a 14.5-inch screen is available for 2015 through 2019 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra pickups. The 14.5-inch screen supports 1200 by 1920p resolution, but the rest of the specs are identical to those of the 15.6-inch screen. Pricing is slightly less expensive at $1,179.
As infotainment screens become increasingly larger with every new vehicle generation, a small screen simply looks dated at this point. While we have yet to test this system for ourselves, it certainly has the look of a modern system, and could prove to be a worthy upgrade for those looking to kick their interior up a notch – assuming it works as advertised.

This looks like what GM could have done but chose to cut costs
Just an FYI, screens are cheaper than buttons. Why do you think they are removing the buttons in newer models??? They are also cheaper than dials and gauges now. Have you priced a 55″ tv lately?
I will pay for buttons and switches
No thanks, don’t need a TV to drive my truck, save it for a camper.
There are aftermarket kits for other GM vehicles, such as for the Chevy Equinox, but the CD player is eliminated. And there are many who still listen to CDs but don’t want to convert them to MP3 files and load them into a flash drive.
The Chevrolet Equinox is not available with a factory CD player.
This is the last thing I’d want in my vehicle, and part of the reason I’d never own a Tesla. Having a large tablet attached to the dash is stupid and unnecessary.
I have seen these in Qatar in some used GMC Sierras and Chevrolet Silveradoes. They look TERRIBLE. And more of a distraction that will cause the driver to get fines….
But anyways, a lot more Land Cruisers or Toyotas have these SILLY screens than GMC/Chevrolet Trucks do…on the used market.
Now only if GM could increase the reliability of the screens. Mine has been replaced 2X’s under warranty. Now it’s ghosting me again!!!
You are correct mine replaced in my Camaro under warranty and twice in my Cadillac XTS once under warranty and the second time out of warranty according to the 36 months but only had 18000 miles. After contacting GM they had the dealership to replace free.
Made in China. Nuff said…
I would bet the factory ones are also foreign sourced, not much electronic is made in USA not even Japan.
Bigger is not always better and in this case, it’s definitely not better….
Dam! Even the WT’s have a screen now, I guess I will keep my old Silverado instead of buying a new one.
Damn, short for damnation.
I know, just keeping it clean.
I have not had any problems with my info center in my 21 Sierra fortunately. Too many distractions for sure but I will admit it looks sharp. Too bad it does NOT have a CD player in it! I really miss it from my 98 Sierra. It has the Android system so I don’t know if it would work with my Apple Car play. I guess if I had to replace my system and it was out of warranty I might consider it
DonsLife on youtube installed 1 of these. Check him out for more info.
