The light-duty 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 drops in as the seventh model year for the nameplate’s fourth generation, debuting a few small updates and changes in the process, such as a revised exterior paint list. The changes also include new pricing, with one trim now $1,700 more expensive than it was for the 2024 model year. Now, GM Authority has uncovered starting prices for the entire 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 lineup.
Looking over the latest pricing figures, we find the least-expensive 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 variant, namely the Sierra Pro trim level in the Regular Cab / Standard Box body configuration with rear-wheel drive and the turbocharged 2.7L I4 L3B gasoline engine, starts at $40,295. Meanwhile, the most-expensive variant, namely the AT4X AEV Edition with a Crew Cab / Short Box body configuration, four-wheel drive, and naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine, starts at $89,790.

Comparing these prices to MSRP figures for equivalent 2024-model-year trims, we find a good degree of variance, with some trim levels going down in price and others going up in price. The biggest price jump is for the Denali Ultimate trim, which is now $1,700 more expensive than it was for the 2024 model year. Meanwhile, pricing for the non-Ultimate Denali is down by $1,200. As a reminder, the 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 offers four engine options, including the turbocharged 2.7L I4 L3B TurboMax gasoline engine, rated at 310 horsepower; the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine, rated at 355 horsepower; the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine, rated at 420 horsepower, and the 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax engine, rated at 305 horsepower.
All GMC Sierra 1500 variants ride on the GM T1 platform, with production taking place at the GM Fort Wayne plant in Indiana and GM Silao plant in Mexico.

every one of them cost more than my first house.
They keep raising prices to force you into an electric vehicle.
All the consumers have to do is go on strike like the UAW. Meaning, stop buying vehicles for a single year. Prove a point and stand up. When people are financing vehicles for 6-7-8 years they have so much negative equity built-up in it they can never get rid of it. All they had to look forward to is a total loss and simple economics drives that cost back down to all the consumers.
