As GM Authority covered back in September 2022, the Tahoe RST Performance Edition was introduced for the 2023 model year and was highlighted by a series of pursuit-rated upgrades. With that in mind, the refreshed 2025 Chevy Tahoe will continue to be offered with the RST Performance Edition.
2023 Chevy Tahoe RST Performance Edition
The Tahoe RST Performance Edition package (RPO code WPK) includes content from the Comfort Package (RPO code Y55), the Technology Package (RPO code CWM) and other specific features to include the following (relevant RPO code in parenthesis):
- 20-inch High Gloss Black aggressive aluminum wheels (NZW)
- 275/55R20SL all-season tires (XCS)
- High-Performance Suspension Package (Z60)
- Heavy-Duty front Brembo brakes (J49)
- Torch Red front and rear calipers (J6F)
- Cat-Back Performance Exhaust
- Performance Air Intake System
- Sport Pedal Cover Kit
- Black RST badging
- Luggage rack side rail delete (V53)
- LED animated headlamps (TGE)
- LED animated tail lamps (TAU)
- Outside heated power-adjustable, power-folding, body-color mirrors with driver-side auto-dimming and integrated turn signal indicators (DXR)
- Power-sliding center console (DCH)
- Second-row bucket seats with power release (ATN)
- Second-row outboard heated seats (KA6)
- Third-row power 60/40 split-folding bench seats (AS8)
- Memory settings (A45)
- Bose 10-speaker Surround with CenterPoint (UQS)
- Heated steering wheel (KI3)
- Rear Camera Mirror (DRZ)
- Head-Up Display (UV6)
Pricing for the Tahoe RST Performance Edition package starts at $9,825. Notably, 4WD is required, as is the $2,495 naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine. As such, the 2025 Chevy Tahoe RST Performance Edition starts at $83,815, which includes the $1,995 destination freight charge. For reference, the 2024 Tahoe RST Performance Edition started at $80,755.
GM Authority exclusively uncovered 2025 Chevy Tahoe pricing, which ranges from $60,495 to $83,195 before options and accessories. The full-size SUV’s optional engine availability is getting a little more complex, especially in the case of the new 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax engine, which requires choosing select option packages beforehand. Super Cruise availability for the refreshed Tahoe will also be expanded.
As a reminder, the 2025 Tahoe will continue to ride on the GM T1 platform – the same architecture that underpins the Chevy Suburban, GMC Yukon, and Cadillac Escalade – while production is currently scheduled to get underway on October 7th, 2024 at the GM Arlington Assembly plant in Texas. Pricing starts at $60,495.

Still no sunroof, rear media, or heated/ventilated front seats with this package. Why in the hell would they include rear heated seats though?? Nothing has changed with this package smh.
