The automaker’s Mexican subsidiary confirmed the arrival of the newly announced 2025 Chevy BrightDrop 400 and 600 to the domestic market of the Latin country, where the BrightDrop vans were first announced in early August 2023. The confirmation in Mexico is part of GM’s new strategic move to expand the reach and accessibility of the all-electric BrightDrop vans both in North America and in other potential regions.

“Chevrolet BrightDrop 400 and 600 are the alternative for our customers to improve their commercial performance, reduce emissions and optimize their operational or delivery services,” said Director of Electric Vehicles at GM Mexico, Adrian Enciso. “Our electric vans offer technological and safety attributes, as well as a functional design, which are important differentiators in the commercial vehicle segment,” he added.

GM Mexico stated that the new 2025 Chevy BrightDrop 400 and 600 will be sold in the country under a fleet business model that will initially be made up of only three selected Bowtie brand dealerships: Chevrolet Angar Azcapotzalco in Mexico City, Chevrolet Rivero Linda Vista in Monterrey, and Chevrolet Milenio Motors in Guadalajara. These will also be responsible for providing after-sales service to customers.

Built exclusively at Ingersoll’s GM CAMI Assembly plant in Canada, the new 2025 Chevy BrightDrop 400 and 600 offer a combined range of up to 272 miles or 437 kilometers on a single charge of the Ultium battery pack and advanced safety assists. The electric vans are equipped with sliding front doors, a curtain-style rear door, and cab-through cargo access.

The new 2025 Chevy BrightDrop 400 and 600 will officially launch and go on sale in Mexico during the first quarter of next calendar year, the company has just confirmed. All details and specific configuration of the models for the Mexican market will be revealed closer to the launch date.
