The horsepower rating for the Chevy Blazer EV RS RWD has improved from 340 to 365, while the torque figure remains the same. An updated range estimate boosts from 324 miles on a full charge to 334 miles. These updates take a good EV and make it even better.

As with the 2024 model, the 2025 Chevy Blazer EV RS RWD is more expensive than the RS AWD model because it has a 102 kWh battery pack rather than an 85 kWh battery pack. The result is more horsepower, a longer range, and a higher DC charging rate of up to 190 kW.

The 2025 Chevy Blazer EV is available to order now, and deliveries should begin soon, but only for the LT AWD, RS RWD, and RS AWD variants. Per our reporting this Summer, the SS and FWD models will be available later in the model year. Chevy has announced that the SS model will begin deliveries in the first quarter of 2025.

Other model year updates for the 2025 Chevy Blazer EV include new Midnight and Sport Edition packages, new painted roof options, and some option package reshuffling, including the addition of the 4LT equipment group.

The Chevy Blazer EV is underpinned by the GM BEV3 platform – which it shares with the Cadillac Lyriq and Chevy Equinox EV – and is powered by GM Ultium battery and GM Ultium Drive motor technologies. Production takes place at the GM Ramos Arizpe plant in Mexico.
