The Chevy Blazer EV just came out for the 2024 model year, but it’s already getting some significant updates for 2025. The biggest updates are the introduction of the FWD powertrain and the arrival of the high-performance SS model. The arrival of the LT FWD trim gives the 2025 Chevy Blazer EV a lower starting price than the 2024 model.

The range estimates for all FWD models and the SS trim are also still to be determined. However, when the Blazer EV was first unveiled back in 2022, Chevy estimated a 293-mile range for the FWD powertrain.
The 2025 Chevy Blazer EV is available to order now, and deliveries should begin soon, but only for the LT AWD, RS RWD, and RS AWD variants. Per our reporting this Summer, the SS and FWD models will be available later in the model year. Chevy has announced that the SS model will begin deliveries in the first quarter of 2025.
Other model year updates for the 2025 Chevy Blazer EV include new Midnight and Sport Edition packages, new painted roof options, and some option package reshuffling, including the addition of the 4LT equipment group.
The Chevy Blazer EV is underpinned by the GM BEV3 platform – which it shares with the Cadillac Lyriq and Chevy Equinox EV – and is powered by GM Ultium battery and GM Ultium Drive motor technologies. Production takes place at the GM Ramos Arizpe plant in Mexico.
