2025 Buick Enclave Avenir In White Frost Tricoat: Live Photo Gallery

The all-new, third-generation 2025 Buick Enclave made its big debut in April 2024, and started arriving in dealerships in July. Today, we’re taking a look at some exclusive photos of Buick’s flagship three-row crossover in the range-topping Avenir trim and coated in White Frost Tricoat (G1W) paint.

Starting at the front, we see Buick’s newest corporate design language in full force. It has the brand’s two-tier LED headlight treatment similar to the one introduced on the Buick Envista, a trapezoidal grille opening with a chrome grille flanked by stylish brightwork. The new Buick tri-shield logo is present for the first time on the Enclave. The bodywork around the lower grille tastefully uses a combination of brightwork and gloss black. We can also see the body-color mirror caps with piano black mounts.

Moving to the side, we get a good look at the brightwork on the daylight opening (DLO) trim, plus a little extra chrome on the lower parts of the doors. The “Avenir” emblem is proudly displayed on the front doors, and the bright roof rails look good with the white paint. A small detail that goes a long way in making the Avenir trim stand out from the rest of the Enclave lineup is the body-color wheel arch moldings, which are black on the other two trims – Preferred and ST.

This Buick Enclave Avenir is riding on 22-inch alloy wheels with what Buick calls an Avenir Pearl Nickel finish (RUZ). For the 2025 model year, these are the only wheels available on the Enclave Avenir.

At the rear end, we see a prominent liftgate-mounted spoiler that visually extends the length of the vehicle, while providing some aerodynamic benefits. More details specific to the Avenir trim include the decorative chrome piece between the tail lights, which continue a trend from the previous generation and feature a neutral-density (clear) treatment. Like the wheel arch moldings, the lower rear fascia of the Enclave Avenir is painted the same as the rest of the body. Notice the horizontally-oriented reflectors just below the liftgate.

Though the Enclave’s dual exhaust treatment is not exclusive to the Avenir, it does differentiate the Buick from the Chevy Traverse and GMC Acadia, which have quad exhaust tips. That’s nice to see since this trio of crossovers that share the long version of the C1-2 platform have a lot in common; they even use identical front and rear doors.

    1. Nice looking until you pop the hood

  3. Gray, black or white! About 95 percent of the vehicles out there are one of those three colors Then nearly everything that isn’t a pickup is an indistinguishable CUV/SUV. It’s a terribly boring time for anyone who loves cars.

My family members still talk about how amazed they were that a six-year old version of me knew every car and could name them going down the road; even in the dark! Today that same person often struggles to tell the difference in a sea of bland uniformity.

GM trying to shake-up Buick design actually has made their products less distinct and more like everything else. Jaguar did this too a few years ago with a shift away from their signature shapes and they’ve now lost all market share.

    1. Rocket. Great points. The comparison to Jag is spot on. Years ago I loved both of those brands. Today? Not at all. They are both 100% forgettable, bland and boring boxes.

    2. cheaper to use black then white..blend make grey add varying metallic tints..make silver..DULL DULL DULL..But its what Europe does..so instead of being a leader we are now a follower!

… and to possibly a fatal extent. An entire lineup of 4-cyl CUVs so bland they could pass as anyone else’s??

Buick’s website banner still features the Wildcat and “Exceptional by Design”, then leads you to possibly the most UN-exceptional lineup they’ve ever had. What a shame as Buick was once pretty damned good, they just could never shake that underrated image.

  4. I have previous model Buick Enclave. 2 items i miss…They moved the the side view mirrors up from door mount to the VENT window ..The reason i want that window is when you make a right turn you can see the medium through that glass.
The second thing i miss is the (Port hole )Chrome piece from fender to door..It made it look distinctive..
Might as well buy Traverse or Leave GM altogether …..
Oh almost forgot…ditch the 4Cylender for Gods sake !!!!!

  5. Sorry, but that big blob with the ugly front end looks nowhere near the asking price. But, it’s a Buick, home of GMs largest discounts, so help could be on the way…next model year.

  6. Buick is so dead to me. This bloated generic GMC with a shark nose and noisy unrefined 4 cylinder underhood in no way speaks premium or range topper. Sad times indeed and another Malaise era II entry that will quickly be forgotten.

  7. I don’t think it’s ugly. In fact, in the Avenir trim in White Frost Tricoat, to me it looks classy and upscale. But you have to want a vehicle that big.

  8. No matter how many times I see this thing, it never gets any better looking. The front (like all the Buicks now) is a total mess. Then entire thing looks like it would be at home sitting on a Toyota showroom.

Like Joe Y above said. Buick is (for now) dead to me.

  9. I don’t like white, it’s every where, give me something that pops like the volcanic red tint coat

  10. The front end—GM should either promote or can the designer. Maybe put them elsewhere.

  11. I think GM hired Chinese designers to their design team. This thing brings on a new definition of BLAND styling, especially for BIUCK.

  12. I don’t find it appalling like some. The rear is definitely an upgrade from from the carryover jellybean design on our 22. The front is a bit daring as was the 08 when it came out. The difference is the 08 knocked it out of the park with most folks loving its unique looks. I think the 25 is going to be way more polarizing. Like most posters, I will miss the V6. With the 9 speed, it is a very sweet motor. I’m an Enclave lover with the 22 being number 3.

    1. the 2008-2012 and the 2013-2017 models were way better looking than the 2018-2024

  13. Having seen these new Enclaves up close at a dealership, I think they look very good. Wife and I may be in the market for one later this year/early next year. The front end actually looks very crisp and futuristic IMO. I like the Avenir trim, but honestly the ST looks remarkably sporty with the gloss black. We’d go for the Avenir though. The interior looks very good too. My only gripes are the 4-cylinder and interior color options….all black or blue and white, er “cool gray,” are not great options. I absolutely hate all black interiors and while the blue and white interior looks amazing, the cool gray carpet is a no-go for my kids. They should’ve done blue and peanut butter with blue carpeting….. that would’ve been perfect.

    1. Too expensive and that four cylinder, probably needs 93 octane too. Will continue to wait to see the new Palisade, more reliable, a V6 engine, and a lower price. Sorry GM… We all do understand that the UAW contracts caused thousands in price increases for Americans.

  14. Looks like a Jeep and every other SUV out there, so glad I have a 2020 Enclave Essence which has a more distinctive grill and with enough whistles and bells plus it’s a six cylinder engine not a 4 banger that these have. Car designs are now mostly carbon copies. Years back cars had style and class.

  15. what a boring design. did they really have to copy the ugly lexus front end? really? so sad

    1. Front ends are similar on this and the Lexus TX, but GM did a much better job than Toyota. Inside and out, especially inside, the Enclave is much nicer looking than the TX.

  16. The very worst thing about this car is that stupid and pathetic four cylinder engine! What ever happened to at least having the option of ordering a V6?
