The 2024 Chevy Corvette E-Ray introduces several firsts to the Vette lineup, including the first Corvette to feature a hybrid powertrain and the first offering a form of AWD. The E-Ray is also fitted as standard with the same rear spoiler (RPO code T0E) as the Chevy Corvette Z06, providing both sporty good looks and improved aerodynamics.
Including the standard rear spoiler, the 2024 Chevy Corvette E-Ray has a total of five spoiler options, which you can view in the following images:
One of the most inexpensive options to customize the standard rear spoiler on the 2024 Chevy Corvette E-Ray is the Carbon Flash Metallic-painted outside mirrors and spoiler (RPO code ZYC) option. Priced at just $195, this choice adds a completely different finish to the standard spoiler (RPO code T0E) for a different look.
Another interesting, affordable choice for rear spoiler customization on the E-Ray is the $395 Rear Spoiler with Clear Smoked Center Bridge Spoiler Extension (RPO code SIG) option. This adds a smoked center bridge to the spoiler, with a Jake skull logo from Corvette Racing for additional style.
The table below summarizes all the rear spoiler choices for the 2024 Corvette E-Ray:
RPO Code | Price | |
---|---|---|
Rear Spoiler | T0E | $0 |
Carbon Flash Metallic-Painted Rear Spoiler | T0E/ZYC | $195 |
Rear Spoiler With Clear Smoked Center Bridge Spoiler Extention | T0E/SIG | $395 |
Carbon Flash Metallic-Painted Rear Spoiler With Clear Smoked Center Bridge Spoiler Extention | TOE/SIG/ZYC | $590 |
Visible Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler, LPO | 5V5 | $5,995 |
When it comes to motivation, the 2024 Corvette E-Ray is powered by the same naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 LT2 gasoline engine as the C8 Corvette Stingray, developing 495 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. However, the E-Ray pairs the gasoline V8 with a single front-mounted electric motor.
The electric motor itself is rated at 160 horsepower and 125 pound-feet of torque, while a 1.9 kWh battery pack located between the seats provides it with energy. With the ICE engine and electric motor working in tandem, the E-Ray’s powertrain cranks out a combined 655 horsepower. This gives the hybrid Vette a 0 to 60 mph time of 2.5 seconds.
As a reminder, the Chevy Corvette E-Ray uses the GM Y2 platform for structure under the skin. Production of the E-Ray takes place at the GM Bowling Green plant in Kentucky.

They missed a perfect chance to title this story as “Spoiler Alert!”
“Bowling Green, Kentucky” beautiful ending to a well-written article!
? could rear trunk lid or part be hinged or one manufactured and powered as an air brake like some high end cars. Would be very cool to have air brake pop up when u are braking from high speed Hey GM just a thought.
