The sweepstakes is hosted by Dream Giveaway, with proceeds benefitting New Beginning Children’s Homes, a non-profit organization offering long-term residential care for foster children and providing a safe family atmosphere in which kids can grow, heal, and loved.
The first half of the grand prize is a 1970 Chevelle SS454, which was fully restored and rocks an attractive Cortez Silver paint job complemented by two black racing stripes. In the cabin, the vinyl upholstery is finished in red, with power steering, power brakes (including front discs), and air conditioning making for an easy, comfortable ride. Under the special-ducted hood, you’ll find the Turbo-Jet 454 V8, good for 360 horsepower, connecting to the Turbo Hydra-matic transmission with a Posi-traction rear end and 3.31 gears.
The other half of the grand prize is this 1969 Camaro SS396, which is rocking the Turbo-Jet 396 V8 power plant, good for 375 horsepower. Like the Chevelle, the Camaro was fully restored, and is riding on rally wheels, with a ducted hood up front and a spoiler in the rear. The 396 connects to a Turbo Hydra-matic transmission, plus Posi-traction and 3.55 gearing.
