Buick is taking a unique approach with its latest advertisement campaign, showcasing the refreshed 2024 Buick Envision in a way that blends art and technology. In a recent short video clip, the refreshed Envision is not just seen but heard – performing a song made entirely from the sounds produced by the vehicle itself.
In the creative little video, the Tri-Shield brand has taken various sound samples from the Envision and combined them into a catchy tune. While the crossover doesn’t actually sing, the folks behind the video used sounds like the hood closing, which serves as the percussion backbeat, and the door open chime, which forms the melody.
The OnStar tone adds a delay effect, while the hydraulics of the hatch and hood contribute a whooshing sound. Additional samples include the console opening, the turn signal stalk, and the sun visors being slammed shut.
The result is a piece of electronic music that captures the essence of the Envision in a novel auditory experience. This song aligns with the brand’s ongoing effort to highlight the design and engineering behind its vehicles in creative and unexpected ways. The video asks viewers – “Our song of the summer?”

Buick previously highlighted the 2024 Envision floating around on billowing white sheets as part of a virtual art exhibit, highlighting the crossover’s design and lending the vehicle a light, airy feel. We’ve also seen the Envista crossover into a giant lava lamp in a different virtual art piece, with both pieces contributing to the Tri-Shield brand’s “Exceptional by Design” campaign effort.
For those interested in the technical details, the 2024 Envision is powered by a turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine and is built on the GM E2 platform. Production takes place at the GM SAIC-GM Jinqiao South plant.

The first thing that popped into my head after viewing the 12 seconds of this nonsense my brain could tolerate was that meme with a confused Jackie Chan asking “what did I just watch?”.
Thanks but I’d rather listen to a 3.6 or 3800.
I know one song it won’t sing. Born In The USA!
Nice spin on a nice vehicle!
