The 2025 Chevy Silverado HD gets a number of updates and changes for the new model year, headlined by the arrival of the Silverado HD Trail Boss and several changes to the exterior paint color lineup. Now, GM Authority is zooming in on the Chevy Silverado HD interior colorways and associated upholstery materials offered for the 2025 truck.
The 2025 Chevy Silverado HD interior offers 18 different combinations of colors, seat configurations, and materials – the latter including either cloth or leather – across the pickup’s six trim levels. These include WT, Custom, LT, LTZ, ZR2 and High Country, with the number of Chevy Silverado HD interior colors ranging from one to eight for each of the trims. The LT trim gets the most options, as this table shows:

As a reminder, other changes besides those to the 2025 Chevy Silverado HD interior include the retirement of five wheels for 2025. GM is also reducing Midnight Edition (RPO code WJP) package availability, with the option now limited to the High Country trim level exclusively. At the same time, the Custom trim is getting a new option in the form of the available factory-installed Custom Blackout Package (RPO code CWK).
Furthermore, the High Country now gets a standard feature in Adaptive Cruise Control, previously offered only as an option. Upfitters benefit from the newly available Universal Vehicle Module (RPO code KGU), which can now be ordered in conjunction with any Silverado HD trim level.
Revealed at the start of this year, the Trail Boss package (RPO code WPK) is a fresh option for the 2025 Chevy Silverado HD. Among its contents are red tow hooks (RPO code UGA), skid plates, L275/65R20 BFGoodrich off-road tires (RPO code QFG) and trailer mirrors (RPO code DWI), alongside various styling upgrades. It is available on the LT trim for $4,005 and on the LTZ trim for $3,755.
Pricing of the 2025 Silverado HD starts at $47,295, as previously discovered by GM Authority. This price applies to the Regular Cab Long Bed RWD variant of the HD 2500 WT trim equipped with the standard L8T engine. The HD 2500 ZR2 Bison with Crew Cab Standard Bed body style, 4WD, and the optional turbodiesel L5P engine is costliest at $91,720 base MSRP. Potential buyers can try out different builds with the official online configurator.
As a reminder, the 2025 HD cradles one of two engines under the hood for propulsion – either the standard naturally aspirated 6.6L V8 L8T gasoline engine cranking out 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque, or the optional 6.6L V8 L5P turbodiesel Duramax engine providing 470 horsepower and 975 pound-feet of torque.
The 2025 Silverado HD pickup is underpinned by a more capable variant of the GM T1 platform. Production of the model takes place at the GM Oshawa plant in Canada and the GM Flint plant in Michigan.

Almost all dark interior colors. No lighter colored options. Pretty uncomfortable in hot climates. Why have the lighter colored interiors been eliminated? GM’s lack of choices with their interior colors leaves me on the outside looking in as far as purchasing a new GM vehicle. Lighter colored options might not be for everyone, but all black interiors are not for everyone either.
The Gideon color looks pretty light to me.
I want to purchases a Chevy Suburban High Country top package with ** second row bench seat AND light color interior** It is unavailable to order.
Although, Chevy advertises 60/40 second row bench it does not make this option available with the higher- more expensive- packages.
We have owned a Suburban our entire life — until now.
