About the GMC Acadia
This past September, GM unveiled the all-new 2024 GMC Acadia, introducing a wealth of updates and changes over the preceding 2023 model year, including larger dimensions, more tech, and a new turbocharged engine, along with a bunch of new safety features and heated wipers. Critically, the third-generation Acadia will be available in several specific trim levels – base Elevation, off-road-oriented AT4, and range-topping Denali. Additionally, the Elevation trim will exclusively offer a new Black Edition package, and a Denali Reserve package takes the trim to the next level.
For the first time ever, the next-gen 2024 Acadia will offer GM Super Cruise, the automaker’s semi-autonomous driving assist technology, thanks to being equipped with GM’s new Global B electronic architecture. Critically, Super Cruise will be available on the 2024 Acadia Elevation and AT4 trim levels. The all-new Acadia arrives as the very first GMC vehicle to offer Super Cruise on Elevation and AT4 trims and the first to offer Super Cruise on all trim levels.
The 2024 GMC Acadia is motivated by the turbocharged 2.5L I4 LK0 gasoline engine as the sole powertrain, rated at 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque. Here’s why the 2024 GMC Acadia uses a 2.5L turbo engine instead of a V6.
Output is directed through the GM eight-speed automatic transmission, with all-wheel drive offered as optional on Elevation, Elevation Premium, and Denali. AT4 trims are equipped with a unique Active Torque Control AWD system as standard.

Uncovered pricing shows that the 2024 Acadia starts at $43,995 for the Elevation trim level, $51,395 for the AT4 trim, and $55,695 for Denali. Although the new 2024 Acadia costs more than the 2023 model, it’s also equipped with more standard features that were either previously optional or unavailable. Review all the 2024 Acadia pricing with options and packages.
Production of the 2025 GMCÂ Acadia is currently scheduled for October 14th.
The online configurator tool is now live for the 2024 Acadia and still live for the 2023 Acadia.

Please Advise, I was told that the 2025 will have as an Option the 3.6 Engine?? The Engine is the only reason I have not placed an Order for a New Acadia Denali. I have driven both the New Enclave and the New Acadia and the Noise distraction with the Engine is a deal Killer for me. The Denali is Loud and Whiney but not as Bad as the Enclave Aveniur. I do not know why anybody would Pay Mid $ 60,000 for either Vehicle and listen to the wind up Engine whine every time you accelerate
I just traded my 2022 Denali V6 for the 2024 Buick V6 Enclave, I have owned 3 other V6 GM vehicles and 1 4cyl turbo which was not a good experience and had disappointing Mpg which was Only Reason I even purchased it in 2022 and traded back after only 3 months at a 7k loss!! Hey Gm bring back the V6 and Small block V8 buyers want options for 50K plus Vehical!! In addition the New 2024 Buick V6 is smooth running and rides and handles Great!
Lots and lots of people have been expressing their displeasure with the stupid and pathetic four cylinder engine that GM is now putting in their SUV’s. I seriously doubt they’ll ever go back to offering an optional V6 engine. I really like the styling of the fourth generation Acadia (2024) and considered getting one, until I found out that it only came with the four cylinder; deal breaker all the way. Seriously looking at the 2025 Honda Pilot with a six cylinder engine or the Ford Explorer.
Nice vehicle,lousy engine
