GM To Reimburse Cadillac CT5-V Buyers Mistakenly Charged For Sueded Headliner

General Motors has issued a Customer Satisfaction Program for certain 2024 Cadillac CT5-V buyers who may have been mistakenly charged for an option related to sueded headliners that were bundled in another package.
Customer Satisfaction Program number N242456060 outlines a remedy for the problem in the form of a reimbursement of $550 to 2024 Cadillac CT5-V owners who were affected by the erroneous charge.
It’s unclear how many buyers were overcharged for a sueded headliner, but GM Authority expects the number to be very low. Looking at the likely specifics of the issue, the Sueded Microfiber Wrapped Interior Trim Package (RPO code IWE) is an option for the 2024 Cadillac CT5-V normally priced at $550.
However, it is only available if the Premium Package (RPO code PDK) is chosen as a prerequisite, and if one of the following interior colorways is also chosen for the Cadillac CT5-V sedan in question:
- Jet Black with Jet Black accents (H2X)
- Jet Black with Jet Black accents (HEA)
- Whisper Beige with Jet Black accents (HND)
- Sedona Sauvage with Jet Black accents (HZK)
What seems most likely is that those affected by the mistaken charge optioned their 2024 CT5-V with the Platinum Package (RPO code PCJ). This package, priced at $6,540, includes the aforementioned Sueded Microfiber Wrapped Interior Trim Package at no additional charge.
However, Cadillac may have mistakenly charged customers $550 for the Sueded Microfiber Wrapped Interior Trim Package on top of the Platinum Package, accounting for the additional charge. In any case, dealers are instructed to check the Investigate Vehicle History page for the individual sedan to see if it is marked “Open,” and once this is verified, issue a $550 reimbursement check to the affected CT5-V owner.
Meanwhile, pricing for the upcoming 2025 Cadillac CT5-V starts at $58,390 with rear-wheel drive and $60,390 with all-wheel drive, as previously uncovered by GM Authority. The Platinum Package was revised for the new model year, getting a new RPO code of ZRG, new content, eliminated prerequisites, and a price of $8,595.
The model also gets heated driver and front passenger seats (RPO code KA1) and a heated steering wheel (RPO code KI3) as standard. You can check out our article on the video teaser of the refreshed 2025 CT5-V from Cadillac for an overview of the new model year.
The GM Alpha 2 platform continues to provide structure for the performance sedan. Production of the CT5-V takes place at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan.
