About Chevy Equinox
The 2024 Chevy Equinox arrives with only a handful of updates and changes before the debut of the all-new fourth generation. As before, front-wheel drive is standard across the trim level lineup, with all-wheel drive offered as an optional upgrade. Motivation for the 2024 Equinox comes from the new-for-2023 turbocharged 1.5L I4 LSD gasoline engine, which produces 175 horsepower and 203 pound-feet of torque.
Pricing for the 2024 Chevy Equinox shows that the LT trim rose by $1,795 and the RS trim increased by $250 due to new packages now included as standard. Check out complete 2024 Equinox pricing with options.
Here’s everything new and different for the 2024 Chevy Equinox.
GM recently unveiled the all-new 2025 Chevy Equinox, debuting the fourth generation of its best-selling crossover. Highlights include larger screens in the cabin, many new safety features, and the new-for-2025 Activ trim level, offering a more rugged setup for outdoorsy activities. The 2025 Chevy Equinox is wider and taller than the 2024 model, with a slightly more spacious interior.
However, the next-generation model offers the same turbocharged 1.5L gasoline engine as before (check out Chevy’s reasoning for that), placing its powertrain mid-pack among competitors.
Here are all the 2025 Chevy Equinox interior colors.
Pricing for the 2025 Chevy Equinox reveals a starting MSRP of $29,995 for the new base-level LT trim with front-wheel drive, all the way up to $36,395 for the Activ and RS trim levels with all-wheel drive. Prices include a destination freight charge of $1,395. Check out 2025 Equinox pricing with options and packages.

2025 Chevy Equinox Continues Faux Exhaust Outlet Trend
Though the dual faux outlets don’t look all that bad.
Boy, did I ever get this one wrong. Prices for the outgoing model are MUCH higher than I’d thought. $6K discounts, max, ahem. Guess I’m not the only one unimpressed with the upcoming one. Must be flying off the lots.
Um, what are you impressed with?
Apparently his keyboard……
Last gen look like your grandpa’s SUV, but it’s now updated in and out, he y has been on a roll lately with their designs. Lone term quality judgement will have to wait, hopefully the new Traverse isn’t plagued with quality issues like that model has been.for years.
On the 25 Equinox, I’m in the minority who are glad they kept the 1.5 engine, a top rated engine by JD Power. Wish they squeezed more MPG out of these, but the price reflects the lack of hybrid drives, these remain affordable.
The Lambda platform issues were solved/improved by the mid-cycle refresh (2013-2014), and the C1 platform continued the improvements and strong reliability run, at least if you bought the V6.
Lumping together the Traverse nameplate into ‘poor reliability’ with the heavily revised versions is ignorant.
The 2007-2012 bad Lambda run was over 12 years ago! Ugh. So misinformed. My 2014 Acadia is chugging along just great at 157,000 miles, thank you very much.
Bait & Switch move GM, Show a picture of a 2025 Equinox & $1500 off! That was for the 2024 Model, totally different!
Exactly!
It’s not a bait and switch on GM’s part…..it’s GMAuthority that created the post.
Some idiot at YOUTUBE mentioned in his comment for the Equinox that the vehicle is “an old man’s car”… Really? Do you all agree with that misguided blockhead? Peace…🙏♐
