C7 Corvette Driver Karate Chops Lexus Mirror In Road Rage Conflict: Video

Emotions run high on the road. And it makes sense because, after all, piloting several thousand pounds of metal and glass at highway speeds isn’t without its risks. Nevertheless, it’s important to keep your head in check. Otherwise, you could end up getting sucked into an ego contest with a total stranger. Such is the case with this video, which shows a C7 Corvette driver taking his frustration out on the sideview mirror of a Lexus RX.
The video was recently posted to social media and appears as though it was captured by a passenger in a Polaris Slingshot that was directly adjacent to the incident. The exact context for the conflict is unknown, but as the video gets underway, we see a C7 Chevy Corvette stopped at a stop light, with the driver standing beside his vehicle and gesturing at a white Lexus RX behind him. In response, the Lexus driver throws a projectile at the Corvette driver, likely a plastic bottle of some sort. The Corvette driver then runs up to the Lexus, puts his hand on the fender to boost himself into the air, and brings his fist down on the Lexus RX sideview mirror in a downward smash.
The impact knocks the mirror off the door, causing it to dangle by some wires. The Corvette driver looks at the Lexus driver with a sense of satisfaction before walking back to his Vette and getting back in.
The Lexus driver is astonished and sticks her phone out the window to snap some pictures or a video of the Vette. The Corvette driver then drives away as the Lexus driver gets out of her car and yells.
Meanwhile, the passenger in the red Slingshot can’t stop laughing at the situation.

Probably the initial offense was by the driver of the Lexus. Anyone who drives wearing backless slip-in (aka fall-off) sandals is an idiot. And creating a significant accident risk for themselves and others while doing so.
That’ll teach that smart ass Lexus driver a lesson.

Noting the palm trees in the background, it is probably southern Kalifornia so that mirror replacement will likely cost her $1000 at the dealer.
