As GM Authority exclusively reported earlier this week, General Motors has just officially unveiled the all-new 2025 Chevy Blazer EV in Brazil.
The automaker officially unveiled the all-new 2025 Chevy Blazer EV in Brazil, which becomes the first country in the southern part of the continent and all of Latin America where GM formally introduces Chevrolet’s all-electric midsize crossover. According to Chevy, the arrival of the new 2025 Blazer EV marks the beginning of the Bow Tie brand’s biggest transformation period in the South American country.
“The new Blazer EV debuts in the most powerful and complete configuration available globally today, with the RS trim,” said the GM Brazil Communications Department. “It is a pleasure and fun to drive without sacrificing comfort, interior space, and plenty of safety. In addition, it offers the greatest autonomy in its category. Its recharge time is also fast, around 3.5 times more efficient than traditional EVs,” the company added.
As we previously reported, the all-new 2025 Chevy Blazer EV debuts in Brazil with a unique configuration corresponding to the sporty-looking RS trim level, which comes standard with a full suite of technology and safety features. In fact, the 2025 Blazer EV is being positioned in the Brazilian market as a “premium electric SUV,” standing out locally for its high level of autonomy and fast charging capability.
In particular, the 2025 Chevy Blazer EV RS configured for Brazil has RWD traction and a single Ultium Drive motor mounted on the rear axle that develops a maximum approved power of 342 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque. The mechanics are powered by an Ultium Battery pack of 12 102 kWh modules that gives it a total autonomy of 481 km or 300 miles, according to the protocol of the Brazilian federal measurement agency.
The all-new 2025 Chevy Blazer EV will enter pre-sale in the coming days when the suggested retail price of the model is announced in Brazil. The crossover is imported from the GM Ramos Arizpe plant in Mexico. GM Brazil reports that the Blazer EV will be part of Chevrolet’s recommended armoring program with the highest level of ballistic protection allowed for civil use (III-A) while maintaining the vehicle’s original warranty.

” The mechanics are powered by an Ultium Battery pack of 12 102 kWh modules”.
Boy, I gotta get myself a Brazilian Blazer…1224 kwh total !!!! At 300 miles per module that works out to 3,600 miles between charges !!!! haha.
The 102.5 kwh module in my Caddy Lyriq regularly gives me around 340 miles per charge…
I somehow think that 12 of them would be a bit heavy.
I question the ‘super efficient fast charging – 3.5 times better than an ordinary EV”, since my friend’s 99 kwh EV9 KIA charges up in about 1/2 the time my LYRIQ does. He gets almost a continuous 99 kw at an EVGO 100 kw fast charger whereas I start in the high 60’s and end up around 76 kw before tapering near full charge.
Since my battery is only about one and a half times the size of a BOLT ev, the charging rate should be BETTER than the one and a half times higher charge rate, since any individual battery cell is not stressed more than the bolt, and both cars take around 1 1/2 to 2 hours to fully recharge. But the slow charge rate shouldn’t hurt battery longevity, so that part is a plus.
I’d be seriously interested in this vehicle if it was AWD. We have windy hilly roads, and a lot of “near-offroad” roads. We need AWD.
