General Motors may have stolen the spotlight with the refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade, but Lincoln is not far behind. The luxury automaker has just released a new teaser video for its own upcoming luxury SUV, the refreshed 2025 Lincoln Navigator, which promises to rival Cadillac‘s icon with a series of updates and changes. The new Navigator will get a full reveal later this week.
The teaser video, narrated by the always-charming Matthew McConaughey, features a series of cinematic close-ups of the new Navigator, all set against a golden sunset over a serene countryside. The 37-second clip provides fleeting glimpses of the refreshed SUV’s various features, including the Lincoln badge displayed on the grille, the Navigator badge on the fender, the wheel design, and intricate details of the steering wheel and center console.
“When is a vehicle more than just a vehicle?” McConaughey muses in his signature style. “When it greets you on approach, and welcomes you inside.” This line hints at the luxurious and personalized experience Lincoln aims to deliver with its 2025 Navigator.
Expected updates for the 2025 Lincoln Navigator include redesigned front and rear fascias, enhanced by animated LED lighting. The interior is also set to receive significant upgrades, with a new steering wheel design and the repositioning of the start and shift buttons to the center console.
That said, Lincoln’s refreshed Navigator will undoubtedly face stiff competition from the 2025 Cadillac Escalade. Cadillac’s updates include a redesigned exterior inspired by the all-electric Escalade IQ, and an all-new interior featuring a massive 55-inch pillar-to-pillar infotainment screen. Engine options for the Escalade include the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 for non-V-variants and the supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 for the Escalade-V, while the previously available 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel Duramax engine has been discontinued due to low demand, as GM Authority was the first to report.

Why the piano key shifter? I think the column mounted shift-by-wire control is the most logical choice. GM finally has been using it after other brands started to. Its simple and easy to use. With how people drive with loads of junk in their center consoles in these SUVs, those piano key shift buttons are bound to get pressed.
If the all projected renderings on the web are correct, the thing is a styling mess….IMHO.
Trying way too hard to be an Escalade.
Likely to do the left pillar to right pillar ultrawide screen, with a smaller center screen as the dash for HAVC controls. Sorta of like the new Lincoln version of the Ford Escape (not sure what the Lincoln one is called) that is made in China.

YouTube has a first look running piece on exterior / interior.
Nothing to get excited about. Pretty bland exterior with a generic, un-compelling front end and incongruent dash-to-axle for the rest of the vehicle.
