Just one model year removed from the inaugural 2024 model year, the 2025 GMC Hummer EV SUV is highlighted by a few notable updates for the fresh model year. That being said, those who are looking to configure a Hummer EV SUV to their preferences will likely be excited to hear that the online configurator is now live and ready for exploring.
The 2025 Hummer EV SUV configurator has lots of items to configure. Starting with trim level selection, both 2X and 3X trim levels are available, as well as the choice of exterior paint colors, wheels, interior colorways, packages, and a plethora of options.
In other 2025 GMC Hummer EV SUV-related developments, GM Authority recently reported that Omega Edition (RPO code WFP) would not return for the new model year. Notably, this package previously included the following content (relevant RPO code in parenthesis):
- Extreme Off-Road Package
- Black exterior badges
- Transparent Sky Panels
- Exclusive 18-inch gloss black beadlock-capable wheels with Carbon Flash trim ring
- Exclusive high lux carpet flooring insert
- Black beadlock mounted spare wheel
- Exclusive Neptune Blue Matte spare tire cover
With the departure of the Omega Edition, the Neptune Blue Matte (paint code GLG) shade will also be dropped, along with Afterburner Tintcoat (color code GC5), Supernova Metallic (color code GKK), and Moonshot Green Matte (G7W). However, there are two new paint colors to choose from, including Graphite Blue Metallic and Solar Orange.
As a reminder, the 2025 GMC Hummer EV SUV is powered by a combination of GM Ultium battery and GM Ultium Drive motor technologies. More specifically, a 20-module battery pack is equipped as standard, while buyers have the option between either a two- or three-motor setup. Maximum output is rated at 830 horsepower.
Under the body panels, the Hummer EV rides on the wide-body variant of the GM BT1 platform, while production takes place at the GM Factory Zero plant in Michigan. Pricing starts at $98,845.
