The 2025 Chevy Tahoe and 2025 Chevy Suburban were officially unveiled last November, with GM showing off a model refresh updating the exterior design, overhauling the interior layout, and adding several new tech items for both full-size SUVs. Indeed, both the 2025 Tahoe and the 2025 Suburban incorporate a huge array of standard features across the various trim levels. Now, we’re taking a walk through the standard equipment list for both SUVs with the following trim level comparison.
Starting with the base LS trim, both the 2025 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban are equipped with practical features such as remote start, fixed running boards, and 18-inch Bright Silver painted aluminum wheels. Interior amenities include a standard 11-inch digital Driver Information Center and a 17.7-inch audio system with Google built-in, along with a six-way power front passenger seat and a manual tilt and telescoping steering column.
Stepping up to the LT trim introduces additional comfort and convenience features, such as an eight-way power front passenger seat, power liftgate, and wireless phone charging. Interior upgrades also include heated front seats with auto temperature control.
The RST trim level focuses more on style, equipping 22-inch bright machined High-Gloss Black painted wheels and black roof rails. This trim also introduces dual exhaust and LED front fog lamps, while the cabin gains sill plates and other aesthetic enhancements.
For off-road enthusiasts, the 2025 Chevy Tahoe Z71 and 2025 Chevy Suburban Z71 trim is the go-to choice thanks to features tailored for rugged terrain, such as 20-inch bright machined and painted Technical Gray aluminum wheels, all-terrain tires, and a high-approach angle front fascia. Additional off-road equipment includes Hill Descent Control, a high-capacity air cleaner, and a front skid plate.
The Premier trim level takes luxury up a notch, adding in chrome mirror caps, as well as power-folding and power-adjustable outside mirrors with integrated turn signals and puddle lamps. Inside, occupants enjoy a heated steering wheel, heated second-row seats, and a Bose 10-speaker Surround audio system with Centerpoint technology.
At the top of the range, the 2025 Chevy Tahoe High Country and 2025 Chevy Suburban High Country trim add even more premium touches, including a standard 6.2L V8 engine, 22-inch bright machined aluminum wheels with painted After Midnight accents, and a Rear Camera Mirror. Inside, the High Country includes a power-sliding center console and a head-up display.

Both the 2025 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban offer three engine options, including the naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 gasoline engine, the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine, and the 3.0L I6 LZ0 turbodiesel Duramax engine, the latter of which arrives as a replacement for the outgoing 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel engine. All Tahoe and Suburban variants ride on the GM T1 platform, and each unit is produced at the GM Arlington plant in Texas.

The LS is the deal, but good like finding one on the dealer lot.
Yeah. The LS is just about perfect, unless you want the extra off-roading of the Z71. There’s pretty much no reason for any other trim, though. In a perfect world, they’d just touch up the LS and sell it as the main model, with an RST package, and then the Z71 for the off-roading, which would offer the engine upgrade. Pretty much anything else is not necessary.
The reason we dealers don’t order them is they have a take rate of about 5%. I believe that one reason is the fact that you cannot get center row bucket seats as an option on the LS. The sub 60k price along with the utility and features make it a great bargain. I really don’t understand the absolute obsession over “captain’s chairs” in the second row! For many customers it is a deal breaker if it doesn’t have that! The RST model is not available with center row buckets unless the WPL Luxury Package is ordered. You can get manual center row buckets on the LT and the Z71 without having to order WPL. I cannot understand why they won’t let us order the RST with manual center buckets
I’d order an LS Burb if they’d offer a stand alone Power Lift Gate option. Leather and all the rest unimportant to me.
Seems like LS can’t get the diesel anymore.
Correct. 3.0 Duramax will not be available on the LS trim.
I really want to see High Country Vs Denali Ultimate comparison
(It won’t let me edit previous statement) HC Tahoe vs DU Yukon.
