Providing aggressive looks and improved downforce aerodynamics, a rear spoiler can offer both aesthetic and practical advantages for a performance vehicle. While the 2024 Chevy Corvette Stingray isn’t equipped with a rear spoiler as standard, the Vette can be upgraded with an optional spoiler.
GM offers eight different spoiler options for the Corvette Stingray, including low and high profile spoilers, various colors of the component, and other choices, which you can check out here:
Notable among the choices on offer, the Carbon Flash Metallic-painted outside mirrors and spoiler (RPO code ZYC) option is interesting since it costs only $195 and adds a different finish to the Low-Profile Rear Spoiler (RPO code TVS) and the Z51 Rear Spoiler (RPO code T0A) selections for the Corvette Stingray.
Other significant details include the fact that the Body-Color High Wing Spoiler (RPO code 5ZU) is only offered in three paint colors, limiting its availability to Corvette Stingray units finished in Arctic White, Black or Torch Red exterior paint colors. Meanwhile, choosing the 5ZU, 5V5, 5ZZ and 5ZW spoilers in conjunction with the Z51 Performance Package deletes the package’s standard Z51 rear spoiler (RPO code T0A).
You can check out all the details in the table here:
RPO Code | Price | |
---|---|---|
Low-Profile Rear Spoiler | TVS | $595 |
Carbon Flash Metallic-Painted Low-Profile Rear Spoiler | TVS/ZYC | $790 |
Body-Color High Wing Spoiler, LPO | 5ZU | $1,2501 |
Carbon Flash Metallic-Painted High Wing Spoiler, LPO | 5ZZ | $1,350 |
Visible Carbon Fiber Two-Stanchion Rear Spoiler, LPO | 5ZW | $6,195 |
Z51 Rear Spoiler | T0A | $6,3452 |
Carbon Flash Metallic-Painted Z51 Rear Spoiler | T0A/ZYC | $6,5402 |
Visible Carbon Fiber High Wing Spoiler, LPO | 5V5 | $7,995 |
- Requires Arctic White (G8G), Black (GBA) or Torch Red (GKZ) paint
- Included and only available with the Z51 Performance Package (Z51)
As a reminder, the 2024 Chevy Corvette Stingray is motivated by the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 LT2 engine, developing 495 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque when equipped with the optional factory performance exhaust system. The vehicle uses the M1L eight-speed dual-clutch transmission co-developed with Tremec for cog swaps.
All C8 Corvette variants are produced exclusively at the GM Bowling Green plant in Kentucky. The GM Y2 platform provides the underpinnings for the model.
So, dear readers, what are your thoughts on the available 2024 Chevy Corvette Stingray spoilers? Which one do you prefer, or do you like the stock look with no spoiler best? Please let everyone know in the comments below.

Real sports cars have a active spoiler.
$8000 for the cf high wing !
What a waste of money…
how ridiculous that the high spolier has been on constraint for 2 1/2 years – GM needs to smarten up and find a new supplier for the wing and the Q9I wheels
The 5ZW is the best one, by far, it totally completes the rear of the car. It is so much better than the new Z51 Spoiler with the goofy outside braces !!!!
I have the TVS spoiler on my 2022 Z-51. It was a no cost option with the Z-51 pkg. I happen to like it better than the stock TOA spoiler.
I’m a fan of no spoiler….Clean look.
That is why I ordered the TVS Low Spoiler in body color; with Z51, 22 being the first year, you could select it instead of the ugly one with the humps that make for a bumpy look, worse yet, when it’s black. I also ordered the body color option. No cheap black disturbing the flow of the design.
Yeah, me too….no spoiler for me.
I prefer no spoiler at all. I drive a Camaro SS and wish I could remove the spoiler without having to replace the deck lid or fill in the holes.
I have the z51 package TOA spoiler in body color. I like it alit but usually not a spoiler fan. Has to be body color though.
I have the carbon flash low spoiler and mirrors and it gives a contrast to the Elkhart lake blue
Pricing ridiculous for a spoiler..six to seven grand…they can keep it I will stick with my 24′ Z51 Spoiler all day
The price is for carbon fiber which in my humble opinion is still stupid high!
Active spoilers are heavy, take up space and costly. Pretty sure you do not need it in stop and go traffic.
No spoiler for me
Carbon Fiber a rip off…a gimmick that some choose to purchase for show…as opposed to really needing its function!
