Following the official confirmation of both vehicles for Mexico late last year, General Motors has just announced the refreshed 2025 Chevy Tahoe and 2025 Chevy Suburban in the North American country.
The automaker’s Mexican subsidiary unveiled the refreshed 2025 Chevy Tahoe and Chevy Suburban at the Mexican Dealers and Specialized Press Annual Convention in Las Vegas, announcing that Chevrolet’s legendary full-size SUVs will arrive in the Latin country at the end of the year. The 2025 Tahoe and Suburban debut new exterior designs and next-generation technology to consolidate their sales leadership in North America.
“The arrival of the iconic Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban to our country represents a new chapter in their history, as they will raise the standard of design, technology and driving experience in the large SUV segment,” said Vice President of Sales, Service and Marketing at GM Mexico, Jorge Plata. “With their arrival, our customers will benefit from the legacy and innovation of two market-leading products,” he added.
Notably, GM Mexico announced that the refreshed 2025 Chevy Tahoe for Mexico will maintain the current model’s lineup with four trim levels that include LT, RST, Z71 and High Country trim levels. Likewise, the updated 2025 Chevy Suburban will continue to be offered in that country with the existing LT, RST and High Country trims. All will come standard with the class-leading 17.7-inch infotainment system touchscreen and 11-inch digital driver instrument cluster.
Mechanically, the 2025 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban will continue to be offered in Mexico with the well-known naturally aspirated gasoline engines that include the 5.3L V8 L84 with 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque, as well as the 6.2L V8 L87 with 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque – depending on trim level. Both engines are coupled to GM’s 10-speed automatic transmission.
The 2025 Chevy Tahoe and 2025 Chevy Suburban will officially go on sale in Mexico later this calendar year, when the first units will begin arriving throughout the Chevrolet Mexico dealer network. All details regarding the specific features of each version and price range of both models for the Mexican market will be revealed closer to launch.

Wait, what, no baby Duramax???
Hopefully it will still be avail for us here in the States.
it is available in the US and is actually being upgraded from the LM2 to the new LZ0
I’ve seen old articles saying that they’re upgrading the LM2 to the LZ0 for 2025MY, but I could have sworn i read somewhere that the Yukon is going to retain the LM2 for 2025 and the Escalade is dropping the diesel entirely. I haven’t seen anything officially confirming what they’re planning to do with the Tahoe’s Duramax.

That Z71 wheel is horrendous!
Price of them should reflect the wages in Mexico. Probably over 100k for a vehicle that’s worth about 30k.
Are they made in Mexico?
