Refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade Confirmed For Mexico

Concurrent with the official debut of the refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade in the United States on July 17th, General Motors confirmed the iconic full-size SUV for Mexico.

The automaker has announced that the refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade will be coming to Mexico as part of the international launch of the revamped ICE model, which represents the luxury brand’s most profitable and successful vehicle. Although it did not reveal a specific timeline, the GM Mexico team confirmed that the 2025 Escalade will be launched in the Latin country after its sales start in the American market.

“The Escalade has always been about bold American craftsmanship, technology and performance, and has continuously raised the standard of full-size SUV luxury since it was introduced 25 years ago,” said Vice President, Global Cadillac, John Roth. “The Escalade franchise has defined Cadillac for five generations. As the best-selling luxury full-size SUV in North America since 2014, and with more than 1 million units sold globally, the expansion of the portfolio later this year positions the brand well to offer an Escalade that meets the needs of all customers,” he added.

In particular, the refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade stands out for adopting a new, more aggressive front-end design and other exterior trim updates, as well as a next-generation cabin with the highest level of refinement and technology. Evidently, the 2025 Escalade’s changes are inspired by the all-new, all-electric 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ, including the large, 55-inch pillar-to-pillar curved display that dominates the cabin.

Additionally, the 2025 Cadillac Escalade also receives the option of 24-inch wheels, the largest ever offered on the SUV, that reinforce its imposing proportions and commanding presence on the road. The refreshed model is expected to maintain the same two current powertrain options in the Mexican market, the 420-horsepower 6.2L V8 L87 and the 682-hp supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 in the Cadillac Escalade-V, with GM’s 10-speed automatic transmission.

The refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade’s on-sale date in the Mexican market will be announced later this year, possibly around the same time units of the SUV will hit U.S. dealerships. The Escalade also represents the brand’s best-selling nameplate in Mexico, so the refreshed model is expected to be very well received by local customers.
