Refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade Announced In Canada

Cadillac Canada has officially announced the refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade, revealing exterior and interior details of the model that will be made available in the Canadian market.

Many of the changes and updates introduced with the mid-cycle refresh are the same that appear on the U.S. variant of the 2025 Cadillac Escalade, which GM pulled the sheets on simultaneously earlier this month.

Styling cues from the Cadillac Lyriq and even the high-end flagship Cadillac Celestiq find their way into the 2025 Cadillac Escalade exterior, highlighted by front end design. Vertical lighting elements match Caddy’s recent design language, and the front logo is now illuminated as standard on all trim levels. The higher trim levels and the Escalade-V now get an illuminated grille surround, too.

GM also notes the availability of three new exterior paint colors, including Aegean stone, described as “a bold, deep green gray,” Deep Sea Metallic, defined as “a rich metallic blue with a hint of gold in the highlight,” and the bronze-colored Latte Metallic.

The 2025 Cadillac Escalade offers the option to ride on huge 24-inch wheels. The interior gets a pillar-to-pillar 55-inch display, of which 35 inches is driver display and 20 inches is dedicated to the passenger’s use. The cockpit also includes two new available colorways and a selectable choice of ambient lighting in 126 different colors.

Technology for the model year is headlined by the GM Super Cruise semi-autonomous driver assist system, equipped as standard. Also included are a 19-speaker AKG Studio sound system, Wi-Fi hotspot capability, and OnStar. Options include a power door entry system and full-color Head Up Display (which is standard on higher trim levels).

The main difference between the American and Canadian variants of the 2025 Cadillac Escalade is that the luxury SUV is 4WD only in Canada, or AWD only for the Escalade-V. Meanwhile, the vehicle is offered in both 2WD and 4WD/AWD configurations in the United States. The 2025 Escalade has also been confirmed for Mexico.

Global Cadillac vice president John Roth said that “the expansion of the portfolio to include a refreshed Escalade and the all-new all-electric Escalade IQ later this year positions the brand well to offer an Escalade that meets the needs of all customers.”

Production of the 2025 Cadillac Escalade is currently expected to kick off on October 7th, 2024, though the date is tentative and could change in the interim. Under the sheet metal, the GM T1 platform will continue to provide structure for the SUV. Production will take place at the GM Arlington Assembly plant in Texas as with the outgoing model year.
