Two-time NASCAR Cup Series Champion Kyle Busch is showing off his customized 1969 Chevy Camaro SS in a new advertisement for Lucas Oil Injector Cleaner. When it comes to his day job, Busch drives the No. 8 Chevy for Richard Childress Racing, with Lucas Oil serving as one of the team’s biggest sponsors. Busch also races part-time in the Xfinity Series and Craftsman Truck Series, once again wheeling a Chevy in both series.
The video is about two-and-a-half minutes long and shows Busch behind the wheel of his customized 1969 Chevy Camaro SS. The Camaro is painted silver and includes two large black racing stripes running down the center of the vehicle. The two-door is riding on a set of polished wheels, which look good against the silver paint and complement the polished trim and polished sideview mirrors.
In the video, we see Busch exit his garage and head down the road while a classic rock soundtrack plays in the background. The Camaro looks great, and Busch lays into the throttle momentarily to demonstrate the Chevy’s impressive power.
Busch then pulls into an auto parts store, confidently walking up to do a little shopping. We see Busch grab a bottle of Lucas Oil Injector Cleaner before pouring the contents of the bottle into the gas tank on his Camaro. Busch says the liquid will help the engine’s fuel economy and power, while also cleaning and protecting the fuel system and other engine components.
“For me, when I don’t get to drive my ’69 Camaro a whole lot, I want to make sure that the fuel is all ready to go and that the fuel system is treated each time I get behind the wheel of that car,” Busch says.
Funny enough, we see Busch’s ’69 parked next to a new sixth-generation Camaro in the parking lot. Busch says that the Injector Cleaner will work on both new and older vehicles.

Now to promote your company? Cool Cars.
Hmmm. Maybe I’ll try some in my C8 Stingray.
I belong to Buick Club of America, and one of their technical tips was to add a little Marvel Mystery Oil to the gas to keep the fuel systems on the carbureted cars operating as they should. I have been doing this with my 1977 Electra for over 10 years and have not had to repair the carburetor since then. Also, gas with no ethanol is available here, and this helps out the old cars quite a bit. Lucas makes good stuff, so I wouldn’t hesitate to try this in my cars. It might even work better than the Marvel Mystery Oil.
I’ve used for years and have never had issues with any fuel delivery systems. No hesitations on my cars. Cheap insurance I think.
