Here’s What The 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ Executive Seating Package Includes

The upcoming, all-new 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ debuts a battery-electric variant of the Cadillac Escalade, representing the flagship SUV for GM’s luxury brand. Offering a scorching 750 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque with its two Ultium Drive electric motors, the Escalade IQ is loaded with advanced features and technology, as befits one of The General’s most cutting-edge models.

The 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ will offer yet another first for the sport-utility nameplate, in the form of an executive second-row seating package significantly increasing the comfort and amenities of second-row passengers.

Among a host of other options and available packages, buyers of the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ will now be able to choose the Executive Second Row Seating Package (RPO code ABV). This package can be ordered in conjunction with the Luxury 2 and Sport 2 trim levels, but is not offered on the Luxury 1 or Sport 1 trims.

The contents of the Executive Second Row Seating package are as follows (with relevant RPO codes in parenthesis):

  • Rear Command Center
  • Second-row captain’s chairs (AL4)
  • Second-row ventilated seats (KUF)
  • Heated second-row cushion and seat backs with dual-mode switches (KCF)
  • 6-way power second-row seat adjuster (ACS)
  • 4-way power lumbar second-row seat adjuster (B1X)
  • 4-way power bolster second-row seat adjuster (AHX)
  • 10-point power massage second-row seat adjuster (AJV)
  • Second-row dual wireless charging (K7D)
  • Second-row floor console with stowable tray tables (DK1)

Pricing for the package is set at $7,500. As a prerequisite, optioning the Executive Second Row Seating Package for the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ also requires choosing the $1,995 Rear Seat Entertainment system (RPO code UW9), which rounds up the following elements:

  • Two 12.6-inch touch-screen displays mounted on the back of the front seats
  • HDMI connection
  • Web browsing
  • Vehicle information
  • Bluetooth headphone pairing

In addition, when the Executive Second Row Seating Package is chosen, the AKG Studio Reference 36-speaker system (RPO code UGH) gets four more speakers, bringing the total number of speakers up to 40. The AKG Studio Reference speaker system is equipped as standard on both the Luxury 2 and Sport 2 trim levels.

GM pulled the sheets on the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ back in August 2023, revealing a sleek exterior design considerably more streamlined than the blocky styling of the ICE Escalade. The IQ offers two-tone exterior paint options, available wheels up to 24 inches in diameter, and a choice of 13 exterior paint colors overall.

The SUV’s cockpit is headlined by a massive 55-inch pillar-to-pillar LED display. Technology includes but is not limited to Super Cruise, OnStar, dual 12.6-inch rear-seat entertainment screens and 5G network connectivity, and optional front and second-row massaging seats.

The 24-module, 200 kWh Ultium battery pack equipped by the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ provides a GM-estimated range of 460 miles on a full charge. 800-volt DC fast charging can be handled by the SUV’s  electrical architecture, with 100 miles of range added in 10 minutes from a fast charger. The model can also provide vehicle-to-home (V2H) bidirectional charging if necessary.

Production of the Cadillac Escalade IQ is currently scheduled to begin on October 7th, 2024 at the GM Factory Zero plant in Detroit, Michigan. Starting MSRP is set at $129,990, including a $2,290 destination freight charge.
