The 2024 Chevy Equinox EV is the more affordable of the Bow Tie’s current battery-electric crossover lineup, positioned below the Chevy Blazer EV. First revealed in September 2022, the model is currently in production. GM Authority is taking a closer look at the available Chevy Equinox EV wheels.
The current lineup of Chevy Equinox EV wheels includes three different styles for the four currently available trim levels – the 2LT, 2RS, 3LT, and 3RS trims. The 2LT and 3LT each have a unique standard wheelset. Meanwhile, the 2RS and 3RS share the same set of 21-inch Chevy Equinox EV wheels.
Two sizes of 2024 Chevy Equinox EV wheels are currently available, including 19-inch and 21-inch rollers. All three are aluminum wheels. Since all are equipped as standard to one or more trim levels, they carry no extra cost, as the following table shows:
RPO Code | 2LT | 2RS | 3LT | 3RS | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
19-inch aluminum wheel | REH | S | - | - | - |
21-inch machined aluminum wheel | RW4 | - | - | S | - |
21-inch Black painted aluminum wheel | RVV | - | S | - | S |
Pricing for the 2024 Chevy Equinox EV ranges from a base MSRP of $43,295 for the front-wheel drive 2LT and $46,795 for the 3RS with FWD. Among AWD configurations, the 2LT has a starting price of $46,595, and the AWD 3RS has a starting price of $50,095. A destination freight charge of $1,395 is included in these prices.
The FWD variant of all Equinox EV trim levels offers 210 horsepower and 242 pound-feet of torque of output from its GM Ultium batteries and GM Ultium Drive motors. The AWD configuration develops 290 horsepower and 346 pound-feet of torque instead.
The Chevy Equinox EV is a utility vehicle in part and offers 1,500 pounds (680 kilograms) of maximum towing capacity for all trims and both drivetrains. In order to maximize towing, the crossover must be optioned with the Trailer hitch (RPO code SDE) feature. It’s an $895 option that is LPO or dealer-installed. Furthermore, the trailer hitch itself has a prerequisite, specifically the available Hitch closeout cover (RPO code VLG), another LPO component priced at $75.
The Chevy Equinox EV is underpinned by the GM BEV3 platform. Production of the electric vehicle takes place at the GM Ramos Arizpe plant in Mexico.

They’re all horrible!
I don’t know about horrible. I’d say that they just aren’t very interesting.
This makes far more sense than the Cadillac version, the Optiq. That one has identical specs and costs way more, while looking worse.
But their Sport 2 wheels are very nice looking.
You can have any wheel style you want. . .as long as the one you want is the only one the car comes with.
I don’t understand why they offer the 21″ rims. Tues are super expensive just ask any Blazer owner with 21’s, many will tell you they wished they got 20’s when they had to replace their tires. Add in they force black rims on the RS and it’s a lose lose situation. Please stop thinking black rims look good because they don’t.
I’d just like to see the giant rims and tiny sidewalls trend end. It’s bad for efficiency, bad for potholes, and looks ridiculous.
Let’s see the 2025 20” design to see if they came up with something new.
And it looks like they killed the 20” option for the 2025’s, so much for that.
Terrible! The machine faced are okay but why are all black wheels the only choices on 3 other trim levels are why do they need to be 21″?
I want to purchase a Equinox EV LT with 19 inch wheels and thicker tires to be able to deal with potholes, rocks and getting into trail heads. But I also want to get super cruise. Unfortunately Chevy only offers super cruise on Equinox EV LT with the 21 inch wheel options. Why can’t I order one with 19 inch wheels and super cruise? Will the 19 inch wheels interchange with the 21 inch wheels? By putting on thicker tires on the 19 inch wheels the diameter should be the same. I want to buy a more serviceable car with bigger sidewalls.
