A recent customer satisfaction program from GM highlights a fix that is now available for an issue affecting several SUV models, including the 2024 Cadillac Escalade sport-utility, in which an over-the-air update can potentially lead to battery drain.
Certain affected units of the 2024 Cadillac Escalade covered by Customer Satisfaction Program number N242435630 may experience an issue where an over-the-air (OTA) update causes partial or complete battery drain, possibly similar to the drained battery caused late last year by a  2023 Chevy Colorado infotainment system problem.
GM has instructed its dealerships to apply the available fix to affected 2024 Cadillac Escalade units, a remedy that is offered free of charge to owners through August 31st, 2026. The fix involves reprogramming the SUV’s serial data gateway module and does not require new components. The reprogramming will prevent further battery drain following future OTA updates.
Only a small number of SUVs is believed to be affected by this issue. Additionally, most of the 2024 Cadillac Escalade units involved in the customer satisfaction program are either in transit or currently in dealer inventory. Dealers are instructed to notify owners of recently purchased Escalade units whose VIN shows they are among those affected by the issue, though it appears GM has also sent notification letters.
Any 2024 Escalade units in dealer inventory are placed on hold and cannot be sold, delivered, traded, or used in demonstrations until they have been fixed. As always, dealership service personnel should use the Global Warranty Management system to verify an individual vehicle’s involvement in the customer satisfaction program before starting work on it.
Non-V 2024 Escalade vehicles are powered by two engine choices: the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine rated at 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque and the 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel Duramax engine providing output of 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. The GM 10-speed automatic transmission is paired with both powerplants.
The 2024 Cadillac Escalade is underpinned by the GM T1 platform. Production of the model takes place exclusively at the GM Arlington plant in Texas.

Is this the same issue that the Tahoe and Suburban had?
It seems like it might be but since there are separate articles, it is hard to tell for sure. Especially when the only difference in the article is the name of the vehicle.
Writers must produce a certain number of articles per day. Three articles of the same except name is three, not one.
