Footage Emerges Of Sen. Fetterman’s Accident With Chevy Traverse: Photos

Senator John Fetterman (D-Pa.) was recently involved in a significant car crash, reportedly colliding with a red Chevy Impala sedan while driving a black Chevy Traverse crossover. The incident took place last month, and resulted in minor injuries, including a shoulder injury for Fetterman. Now, newly released images and video footage provide a more detailed look at the accident.

The crash occurred on June 9th on Interstate 70 near Hagerstown, Maryland. According to a report from the Washington Post, Fetterman was allegedly speeding at the time of the collision. The footage, obtained under Maryland’s Public Information Act, shows Fetterman interacting with police and answering their questions. It also includes comments from first responders at the scene.

One of the first responders can be heard saying, “The black car is, it’s actually, I think a senator of Pennsylvania – that real big, tall guy.”

“He was flying, and she wanted to merge, and he just smashed her,” the first responder adds.

In a statement, Fetterman expressed his regret over the incident: “This was an unfortunate accident on Sunday, and I’m relieved and grateful that there were no serious injuries. I’ve been driving for almost 40 years, and I’ve gotten a small handful of tickets. When I sped, I was held accountable. I need to do better and do it slower – and I will.”

The Washington Post report also highlights Fetterman’s history of speeding tickets. The senator has been issued at least two citations for traveling at least 24 mph over the posted limit in the last several years, including one for driving 34 mph over the limit.

The black Chevy Traverse involved in the accident sustained significant damage. Photos show the front end smashed in, with the hood crumpled and the bumper missing, as well as at least one flat tire. Additionally, the Chevy Impala appears as though it was demolished in the rear, with the entire trunk section a tangled mess of metal.

  1. Disagree, as he’s the only democrat with some common sense, however, he’s still recovering from a stroke and probably thought he was driving 25mph. Revoke is license.

  2. Why does this page have to post news about everything that has to do with GM products? “A Ohio man slipped and fell on ice while attempting to get into his 1994 lumina” just post important things we care about like horrible renders.

    1. Not all of PA voted for this clown. It was the big Cities of Phila, Pittsburgh, Harrisburg that voted him in. Unfortunately, the smart people that are outside the big cities, where the stupid people reside in Govt. Housing, are outnumbered, so we end up with clowns such as Fetterman.

  4. Why does he even have a license. Anyone else would have had theirs suspended for all those tickets . He has no regard for anyone else. He’s a danger on the road. Wait till he kills someone.

    1. Two tickets is not going to suspend a license. I’ve seen cases of 2 DUI’s not getting suspended license, usually just an interlock for 2 DUI’s. Seems to take around 5 DUI’s around here to have them suspend your license, which I find way more insane than speeding tiks, of which I have 0 BTW.

  7. Lucky car didn’t blow up. They should take his license, speeding 20-30 mph over limit should put the infraction into another class offense

  8. more than likely in was a Govt. car, so he does not care. Fetterman has been a clown all his life, why stop now. He should not even be driving. He can’t comprehend people talking, so he has to read text instead. He is a walking Zombie both before and after his stroke.
