The Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing has what it takes to hang on the racetrack, with a long list of go-fast goodies in place to please speed addicts. Naturally, that includes a delicious exhaust note when you push the skinny pedal. Now, we’re getting a taste of the CT4-V Blackwing on boost with the following brief video, straight from the make.
The video is just 10 seconds long and shows the CT4-V Blackwing accelerating hard on the racetrack. It is cropped to show the rear end of the sedan, with one side of the quad exhaust tips prominently featured. The car in the video is finished in a searing shade of paint called Cyber Yellow Metallic (paint code GCP), which is offset by black carbon detailing around the diffuser surround and the large spoiler mounted on top of the trunk.
As the CT4-V Blackwing accelerates through the gears, the video provides a clear capture of the sound of the exhaust. There is no narration or other distractions, allowing viewers to fully appreciate the auditory experience of the hot-to-trot CT4-V Blackwing.
At the other end of the exhaust pipes, the CT4-V Blackwing cradles a twin-turbocharged 3.6L V6 LF4 gasoline engine. This powerhouse delivers 472 horsepower at 5,750 rpm and 445 pound-feet of torque at 3,500 rpm. Buyers also have their choice of two transmission options: the GM six-speed manual (RPO code MG9) and the GM 10-speed automatic (RPO code MHU). Both transmissions channel power exclusively to the rear wheels. The GM Alpha 2 platform provides the underpinnings, while production takes place at the GM Lansing Grand River Plant in Michigan.
For those fans who love Caddy’s performance models, this exhaust video of the Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing is sure to get the juices flowing. Check it out right here:

Where can I find a Cadillac in the Typhoon Metallic color in the Chicagoland area?
You are going to be very lucky to find a a BW in the color you want on the lot, well except black. My dealer actually has 2 in stock, a mercury silver and a black raven. For rare cars like the BW’s, you either take the color they have or order.
Sounds awesome. Anyone who would rather hear the distant whir of a hopped-up golf cart under them… needs their head examined!
The look of the CT line is generic and boring. Needs a total redesign.
C’mon, Mary .
