About Chevrolet Express

The 2024 Chevy Express arrives with two new transmissions, which are the only changes for the Passenger Van, Cargo Van, and Cutaway configurations. While the 2024 Chevy Express cargo van initially dropped the naturally aspirated 6.6L V8 L8T gasoline engine, it is now available again. It joins the atmospheric 4.3L V6 LV1 gasoline engine as the only two powerplants offered in the 2024 Express. Check out the 2024 Chevy Express towing capacities.

Additionally, 2024 Chevy Express infotainment system upgrades are no longer available, leaving the 2024 Express with only one infotainment option: the base audio system consisting of the AM/FM stereo with an MP3 player. That system includes an auxiliary jack and two front-door speakers.

Pricing for the 2024 Chevy Express shows significant increases, ranging from $1,600 to $2,900 (including cargo, passenger, and cutaway models). The destination freight charge also increases by $100 to $1,875.

The online configurator tool is live for the 2024 Express.

Production of the 2025 Chevy Express is currently scheduled for October 7th.

While the Chevy Express and GMC Savana were thought to be discontinued after the 2025 model year, GM had plans to redesign the Chevy Express for the 2027 model year, keeping the ICE powertrain. However, a report by Autoweek indicates that The General may have canceled plans for any next-generation vans.

To date, GM has sold more than 3 million Chevy Express and GMC Savana units.

We strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information about the vehicles and their incentives in question, but errors and misprints can happen. 1. I don’t see as many of these vans anymore new or old. Appears most of the contractors have moved on to Sprinter vans.

Always had a soft spot for vans. My father started a business in early 70s and had several 1960s Dodge vans with engine between the seats. Lots of memories riding in those vans.

    1. “Appears most of the contractors have moved on to Sprinter vans.”

In this area, most have moved to Ford. At one point there were contractors lined up, cash in hand and begging for vans. GM didn’t want their business. (Actually it was worse than that… GM royally jerked everyone around by delaying and cancelling orders). A contractor who needs vehicles doesn’t need games and will go elsewhere.

  2. GM sells every one they build. You don’t see them because GM doesn’t build enough of them. Dealer lots don’t have any because they are sold before they hit the lot. And any dealer that has one on the lot, the listed sale price is like double the MSRP. on top of which the van itself is most likely not a van, van. It’s a cutaway/chassis-cab van.

You need one of these in today’s world, you are pretty much stuck buying a used one, assuming you can find a used one, or buying a Ram/Ford/Mercedes van,
