Cadillac Lyriq Lease Available Nationwide In July 2024

In July 2024, a Cadillac Lyriq lease is available nationwide on the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq.

The luxury marque also offers low-interest financing on the all-electric luxury crossover.

Cadillac is offering $3,000 conquest cash toward the lease or purchase of any Lyriq trim level for owners and lessees of the following competitive brands: Acura, Audi, BMW, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Infiniti, Jeep, Kia, Lexus, Lincoln, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, Volvo, Porsche, Tesla, Genesis, Polestar, and Rivian.

Additionally, while newly produced units of the 2024 Lyriq qualify for the $7,500 U.S. EV tax credit, GM offers an Ultium Promise cash rebate of $7,500 for any examples previously built that lost the EV tax credit, with those Lyriq units marked as “equipped with R7T.” Either way, buyers of the 2024 Lyriq receive $7,500 toward the purchase of the Cadillac’s first EV.

In July 2024, a nationwide lease, low-interest financing, and cash back is available on 2024 Cadillac Lyriq all-electric compact crossover, shown here in Sport trim.

About Cadillac Lyriq

The 2024 Cadillac Lyriq arrives with several important changes and updates.

Among these is the introduction of the new Tech and Sport trim levels, with the Luxury trim level slotting between those. Furthermore, the 2024 Lyriq Luxury 3 and Sport 3 are now available with 20-inch wheels, plus a new 22-inch Gloss Black alloy wheel option is available for the entire trim lineup. Check out our feature comparison of these 2024 Lyriq trims: Luxury 2, Sport 2 vs. Luxury 3, Sport 3.

All three trim levels – Tech, Luxury, and Sport – are available in the U.S. with either rear-wheel or all-wheel drive. Notably, here are the top 10 features the Tech trim doesn’t get.

The 2024 Lyriq is the first GM vehicle in North America to feature 5G network connectivity, standard on all trim levels. It also gets a new power panoramic dual-panel sunroof, a newly available Nappa Leather seating package, which is genuine leather made from calfskin or other types of soft cowhide, and a new trailer hitch.

Regardless of the trim level selected, the 2024 Lyriq maximum range-per-charge is 314 miles for rear-wheel-drive models, with motor output set at 340 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque, and 307 miles for all-wheel-drive models, with motor output set at 500 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque. Additionally, the 2024 Lyriq AWD offers a new Velocity powertrain upgrade, boosting torque by 74 pound-feet, raising the peak rating from 450 to 524 pound-feet. GM asserts that the zero to 60 mph time improves from the standard AWD variant’s 4.7 seconds to 4.4.

The Cadillac Lyriq-V is still expected, but for the 2025 model year.

The all-electric luxury crossover rides on the GM BEV3 platform, and its motivation comes from GM Ultium batteries paired with GM Ultium Drive motors.

The online configurator tool is live for the 2024 Lyriq.

Production for the 2025 Cadillac Lyriq is currently scheduled to begin on September 9th.

All of this could only mean one thing…..inventory is piling up. I checked a few larger dealers in the area. One has 27 Lyriq’s, two others have….85+. If you want one, check the lightly used market as well. There are some 2024’s around with minimal mileage for around $15K under MSRP.

Isn’t it disingenuous to link to an article about the Velocity power train upgrade as if it is currently available when the article is 10 months old, the upgrade was never actually offered for purchase, it requires the OTA update system that was shut off in September 2023 and that system is required to install the Velocity software?

Before paying $1,200 for the added torque, I would want to know if it was noticeable in day-to-day driving and if it stays with the car when it is eventually sold. With CEO, Mary Barry’s announced intention to generate millions of additional income to GM from “software” in coming years, it would not surprise me if GM would pull a fast one and turn it off when the car is reregistered, saying you were “just renting” it, decreasing the cars value.
